J.C. Penney Is Slashing Prices of Some Items to One Cent

Penney is now slashing the prices of some of their items to just one penny. Yes, you read that right. The major retailer will be offering select items for one single cent. Let’s get shopping, frugal fashionistas!
According to The Dallas Morning News, the “Get your Penney’s worth” campaign will start with special selections from J.C. Penney’s $1 billion Arizona brand, as part of the store’s effort to bring back customers who have recently slowed their spending at the long-time department store.
It won’t be a penny-spending free-for-all though, as some restrictions will still apply. Certain items will be offered as “buy one, get one for a penny” — while others will cost one penny outright — and each store will only have limited items available for the wildly low price.
Crack open that piggy bank now, ladies, and start counting your change.
