Julia Stiles “Couldn’t Resist” Sharing a Baby Bump Selfie on Instagram
Julia Stiles isn’t really known for splashy announcements. She waited a month to share the news of her December 2015 engagement with fans, and we learned of her pregnancy just a few weeks ago. We weren’t expecting the 10 Things I Hate About You star to share much in the way of maternity pics, but she took to Instagram yesterday to share an adorable snap of her growing baby bump.
“Alright, I couldn’t resist,” she captioned the mirror selfie.
Stiles is expecting with her fiancé, Preston J. Cook, whom she met while filming a thriller with Sir Anthony Hopkins. Cook popped the question when the pair vacationed in Isla Grande, Colombia, over Christmas in 2015.
“All around, it was a really wonderful trip,” Stiles toldPeople last year. “We stayed on an island that was really beautiful and there was a lot of great snorkeling. The city was really nice too, but because I live in the city, the natural scenery was really great.”
Stiles also said that she is in no rush to walk down the aisle, telling the mag, “We’re really slow on the wedding planning so I haven’t really been soliciting [marital] advice [yet]. Somebody told me about radical empathy, but I’m still trying to figure out what that means. I’m trying to figure out what makes it radical.”
