Jupiter Is Now in Scorpio, and It’s Bringing Major Money Miracles
Blame the patriarchy (no seriously, it’s their fault), but many women don’t really feel comfortable talking about money, from student loans to credit card debt. Same goes for sex — though an openness to new experiences definitely helps in that department. Either way, the hesitancy to be honest about these two important topics just got totally blown open, all by a cosmic shift in the sky.
That’s right — Jupiter moved into Scorpio on October 10 and will stay there until November 2018 — and with this new planet-zodiac partnership comes major monetary (and intimacy) changes in all our lives. As always, we went straight to our source, astrologer and life coach Ambi Kavanagh (congratulations are in order — she just got married earlier this year!), to get the scoop on Scorpio’s new planetary friend.
Scorpio rules joint finances (mortgages, loans debts, business partnerships), sex, death, transformation, and truth-seeking, Kavanagh explains. In other words, Scorpios are intense AF. She suggests reviewing your personal natal chart to see which astrological house Scorpio is in so you can determine the specific areas of life will be directly influenced by Jupiter.
Jupiter, as we’ve already learned, is the planet of miracles and expansion — this giant planet is a cosmic gift-giver, bringing healing and closure where ever it’s currently stationed in the zodiac. Kavanagh says the major themes to watch for over the next 13 months, then, will be joint finances and intimacy.
On a global scale, she’s expecting lots of attention focused on women’s reproductive rights, sexual harassment scandals, student loan forgiveness, the stock market, and tax cuts. She reminds us that since Scorpio is a powerful sign that digs deep to find what’s beneath the surface, and Jupiter fosters healing by bringing issues to the surface, there may be some serious unpleasantness before those promised cosmic miracles can occur. But occur they will, and she’s optimistic that these often troubled topics will get some much-needed lightness.
And when it comes to the personal level, Kavanagh is similarly sanguine, saying that now is the time to “harness this energy to fix your finances,” whether it’s investing more in your retirement account or applying to a debt consolidation program to get your future finances in the black.
Similarly, she recommends taking a look at your own intimacy issues, whether it’s your reproductive health, relationship with sex, or even jealous tendencies, to figure out exactly what you’d like to change in those areas. Jupiter’s expansive energy mixed with Scorpio’s mystical nature means “it’s a good time to do this stuff” and that you’ll likely to see “miracles in these areas of life” within the year.
Basically, Kavanagh says, “It’s time to get your sexy on, get your finances in order, and tap into your personal power” to make a majorly positive impact in your world.
