Kelly Osbourne Just Added Some Major Length to Her Hair

When you snip off all your hair into an edgy undercut that usually means you’re stuck with it for the forseeable future. At least that’s the case, unless you’re Kelly Osbourne. The TV personality recently took her Instagram followers by surprise when she posted a selfie, not with a short, edgy ‘do, but rather with a soft shoulder-length lob. What is this hair magic? Some miracle shampoo made from diamonds? We wouldn’t be all that surprised considering Kelly did rock a $250,000 black diamond manicure at the Emmys in 2012, but sadly, no. This dramatic new look is all thanks to lavender colored extensions.

The 30-year-old captioned her photo, “I’m Loving today’s make up by @dendoll hair by @fraankie hair color by @Kenny.reed! It’s giving me major Shih Tzu realness! What do you guys think?” While we do have to appreciate the fact that Kelly isn’t afraid to poke a little fun at herself, we also have to say we’re pretty into the sleek, temporary look.

Extensions certainly aren’t a new idea, however they do seem to be having their moment in celebrity Instagram-land (yes, that’s a place that exists). Vanessa Hudgens, who only a few months ago cut her hair into a blunt bob, recently shared a photo of her rocking waist length hair. The short-haired Rumer Willis was also previously rocking some super long extensions while on Dancing With the Stars earlier this year. Is this a hint that all those Hollywood lobs are about to “grow” 12-inches by the time fall rolls around? We’re guessing yes.

Have you ever tried extensions? How did they work for you? Share with us in the comments below.
