Mandy Moore Just Brought Back This Retro Dress Style, and We’re So Here for It
Let’s just say we’re no stranger to celebrity fashion trends and the mini shopping sprees that generally follow. Whether we find ourselves on the hunt for Kim Kardashian’s bike shorts, Kourt Kardashian’s sideboob swimsuits, or Meghan Markle‘s anything, Hollywood’s most fashionable are truly the stylish gift that keeps on giving. Currently, we’re obsessing over Mandy Moore and her posh resurrection of a Gatsby-era staple — the flapper dress. Flaunting a fabulous array of color, the This Is Us‘ M Missoni midi features a flattering bodice-cut, spaghetti straps, and all the fringe.
Spotted in Los Angeles on July 24 looking ravishing in technicolor fringe, Moore’s M Missoni look from the Fall 2018 collection leaves little to be desired. Although this *exact* dress isn’t available, we scouted a few alternatives in every price range just in time for summer soireés. (Photo via RB/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images)
1. M Missoni Knit Fringe Dress ($995): For those of you looking to copy Moore’s exact look, this frilly frock — made by the same Italian designer — may just be the one for you. This thoroughly modern dress is sure to be a fancy closet staple for years to come and is 100 percent worth the wardrobe investment.
2. ASOS Fringe Mesh Strappy Dress ($76): Not trying to splurge? Take the pretty in pink route in an ankle length, strappy, and very affordable option instead. Pair with fiesta-ready pumps and fierce statement earrings to round out this rosy look.
3. Marchesa Notte Tiered V-Neck Gown ($1,295): Embroidered details and a sheer illusion bodice kick this gown up a notch. We love it so much we’d marry it — or maybe we’d just get married in it!

5. BHLDN Della Dress ($300): You can certainly re-wear this bronze bb year-round from summer wedding to New Year’s Eve and beyond. Looking for a cute Halloween costume? Add a feather headband, a boa, and a long strand of pearls to complete this flapper disguise.
