If you've gotten swept up in the drama of Sullivan's Crossing on the CW, you're not alone.

The show follows neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan, played by Morgan Kohan, as she flees her high-stakes Boston life in search of some quiet refuge at her father's (Scott Patterson) campground in Nova Scotia. But, while there, she winds up unearthing family secrets and making a surprising new connection with a mysterious man named Cal Jones.

Spoiler alert: Season 2 ended with Maggie confessing her feelings for Cal (Chad Michael Murray) and grappling with the fact that she's expecting her ex's baby. Meanwhile, Sully's fate seemed uncertain after a fair. This left viewers everywhere eager for answers, and thankfully, Season 3 of Sullivan's Crossing already premiered on May 7, 2025.

Still, you might not know that, before the show hit the small screen, it was actually adapted from a book series penned by author Robyn Carr. If you're ready to experience Maggie's journey, as well as other tales, in novel form, here's how to read the Sullivan's Crossing books in order.

While adjusting to the slower pace of rural life and beginning to repair her relationship with her estranged father, she encounters Cal Jones, a mysterious hiker.
