February 25 was a normal day on the internet until one Tumblr user posted a seemingly average photo of a dress. “Is this dress white and gold, or blue and black?” she asked. After that, battles were fought, friendships were lost and harsh words were exchanged. Okay, maybe not really, but kind of. We were just starting to forget about the mind-bending debacle, but now it looks like “the dress” has made a Halloween comeback.
Online costume retailer, Yandy, has created this clever costume that’s the same style as the dress in the original photo, but has a split color scheme down the middle. So, does this mean the left side is supposed to be blue and black or white and gold? Ahhh, our brains hurt already. If you can handle crowds of people shouting very strong opinions about your outfit’s color scheme, this could be a fun, easy and also pretty sexy costume to rock come October 31.
We’re guessing this one will sell out even faster than people can write strong opinions in all caps on the internet, so if you’re into it grab yours over at Yandy for $47 ASAP – and may the force be with you.
