Amal Clooney’s Best Maternity Looks… So Far
It’s one thing to have a killer fashion sense. It’s quite another to have a killer sense of maternity style. One fashionista in particular seems to have an effortless knack for both, slaying the street style and red carpet games all while carrying twins, no less! Amal Clooney (AKA the ultimate #girlboss) has always been chic, but as she proved at today’s 2017 César Awards (AKA France’s Oscars), she’s every bit as fashion-forward while rocking a bump. Check out four of her best looks while expecting thus far.
1. 2017 César Awards: The 39-year-old was a vision in custom Atelier Versace earlier today, and she shone even brighter as George Clooney, onstage to accept the Honorary César Award as what France’s Academy of Arts and Techniques called “The most charismatic actor of his generation,”gave her a special (and adorable!) shout-out. “To my wife Amal, there’s not a day goes by that I’m not proud to be your husband. And I am excited about the years to come, and particularly the months to come. I love you very much.” AWWWWWW! (Photo via Marc Piasecki/Getty)
2. Strolling Down the Street: Clooney didn’t need a red carpet to shine while running errands in London earlier this week, stepping out in this show-stopping, bright red pre-fall Stella McCartney coat, biker boots, and a gray dress over black tights.
3. The White Helmets Screening: The human rights attorney wore an adorable floral print Dolce & Gabbana shift dress to the Netflix London screening of The White Helmets (now nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary Short) that could easily transition between seasons. 4. At the Airport: Clooney made lazy-girl style look good with an Alberta Ferretti Days of the Week sweater, an Adam Lippes button-down coat, leather (pleather?) leggings, and a little beret that has us wondering why WE don’t look this good while traveling.
