Why Amazon’s New Budget-Friendly Accessories Line Is About to Take Over Your Wardrobe

When you think Amazon, home necessities, odds-and-ends, electronics, and Alexa come to mind. But the online giant has been making serious moves in the fashion industry with services like Amazon Prime Wardrobe, and their latest attempt to corner the sartorial market, The Fix, is a collection of trendy accessories that won’t break the bank.
The new label, which launched Tuesday, offers handbags that start at $49 and shoes from $69 — and the stuff isn’t just budget-friendly; it’s cute! Check out the likes of the Hampton Crossbody Leather Circle Bag, (above, $99) or the Bonilla Block Heel Triangle Cut Out Dress Sandal (below, $85).
“The Fix is for customers who want to shop accessibly priced, high-quality, on-trend shoes and handbags — she is located anywhere and everywhere, and loves the ever-changing assortment of new styles,” Amazon Fashion Director, Kate Dimmock tells Brit + Co. “Our goal is to give customers what they’re looking for, and we’re constantly imagining new ways to do just that! Hey, you can never have too many handbags and shoes!”
Dimmock wanted to promise the accessories, in addition to being affordable and good quality, would be what Amazon’s savvy stylish clientele would seek out from outside brands. “We’re always listening to our customers and looking at ways we could make their shopping experience even more joyous. The shoes and bags are reflective of that too; we wanted to be able to give her that hit of style to complete her whole look at a great price,” she says.
And The Fix will continue to refresh the options monthly. “My team and I always have our eye on the latest trends that we know our costumer will want to try,” Dimmock tells us. Given that it’s Amazon, you know the options will be endless!
