Benefit Is Recalling One of Its Most Popular Brow Products
Uh oh, we have some iffy news for brow enthusiasts: Benefit just issued a voluntary recall for one of their most popular brow gels.
Gimme Brow is a brow-building fiber gel, and its 2016 launch sent the beauty world into a tizzy, gleaning beauty awards and accolades from editors and vloggers alike. However, it looks like the honeymoon might be over. According to a statement released by Benefit, “Recent batches of the product did not meet our stringent quality standards.” Yikes.
But before you read too much into this cryptic message, rest assured; the statement also notes, “If applied in its normal usage on the brows, the Gimme Brow product doesn’t involve any risk.” It could, however, “lead to eye irritation” if you get it in your eyes. Nevertheless, they “recommend that you stop using the product.”

Most likely, you proooobably weren’t using the brow gel anywhere other than your brows (though honestly, we totally get the idea of multitasking products, so no judgement if you were). Return your product for a full refund at your original retailer.
