13 New Snacks We're Snacking on This December
Though we're in the thick of the holiday season, we're still finding that mindful balance between indulgent comfort foods and nourishing nibbles. We've gathered the best new foods for December 2018 to help fuel you during this grind period. Let's close out the year with a fridge (and pantry) full of drool-worthy products!

Stryve Original Trail Mix With Beef Biltong ($5): Beef biltong is a form of air-dried meat that maximizes flavor. It results in thin, crunchy, cracker-like jerky. Though the combo sounds strange, this mix of nuts, seeds, and biltong provides a satisfyingly savory way to snack.
Blue Moose of Boulder Original Hummus With Carrot Sticks ($3): This dynamic twist on the fresh veg combo we’re used to features dehydrated carrot sticks that add an extra crunch factor to light and creamy organic hummus.
Pioneer Woman Country Fried Steak ($7): As if we didn’t already love everything the Pioneer Woman touches, her new prepared food line at Walmart now means we can enjoy her food minus the actual cooking on our part. We're big fans of the eggy breakfast bowls and mac and cheeses, but the country fried steak and mashed potatoes are nostalgic winners too and can be ready in under 10 minutes.
One White Chocolate Truffle Protein Bar ($27/12 bars): Ditch the caloric truffles this season and grab one of these protein-packed white chocolate truffle bars with crunchy cookie pieces strewn throughout. This festive new flavor is packed with 20 grams of protein and just 1 gram of sugar.
RX Nut Butter Chocolate Peanut Butter ($16/10 packs): Enjoy this Reese's-tasting spread on toast, squeezed into a smoothie, or eaten directly out of the pouch on your way to work.
Thrive Ready To Blend Smoothie ($5): Like a supermarket version of Daily Harvest, Thrive's pre-portioned fruit-filled cups only require added coconut water or milk before being blended to slush. As a bonus, the cup and lid are reusable so you can continue to take smoothies on the go.
PetitPot Mango Passion Fruit Vegan Rice Pudding ($3): This vegan alternative to rice pudding packs a tart punch with the addition of passion fruit. Made with coconut milk, it’s like taking a spoonful of a tropical vacation.
Al Chipino Salsa Picante ($4): These gluten-free and vegan chips will be a party favorite for all, regardless of dietary restriction, with their fresh roasted tomato taste and spice that lingers long after the chips are all gone.
Amy's Vegan Cheese Pizza Snacks ($5): These vegan pizza bites are a cheese-free (and yet taste and pull like mozzarella) so vegans and lactose intolerant folks can get their snack on too.
Dada Cabbage Petals ($8): The long lost cousin of the kale chip, this crunchy snack is full of sweet and spicy turmeric flavor packed with all the anti-inflammatory benefits of cabbage. Dress them up with some dip or snack on them solo.
Chocolate Winter Lucky Charms ($3): Get the chocolatey-ness of Cocoa Puffs and the marshmallows of Lucky Charms in one bowl. This chocolate version of our favorite cereal is only here for the holiday season so make sure to stock up.
Vosges Ruby Truffle Collection ($15): Ruby chocolate is more than meets the eye. This *naturally* pink, very rare type of chocolate (introduced in 2017) has a sweet yet sour taste that complements tropical fruit. Vosges handcrafted it into two totally delicious truffles: Ruby Cerise (vanilla + cherry gelée + hibiscus + ruby + freeze-dried cherry + pink peppercorn) and Sour Mango Ruby (passion fruit + mango + salted caramel + ruby + edible purple flower petal).
Philadelphia Southwest Style Black Bean and Corn Dip ($4): Skip the prep with this cream cheese dip that comes totally party ready. At 60 calories per serving, it's delicious whether served warm or cold. Also available in Jalapeño Cheddar and Buffalo Style with Celery, there's a flavor for every occasion.
