While others are busy focusing on messages of hatred, Jessica Simpson (whose hair was on POINT this week) and hubby Eric Johnson have a totally different outlook of the world RN: Maybe because they’re busy celebrating their love.
The fashion mogul agreed to marry her former NFL beau six years ago, adding them to the list of celeb couples that have lasted for more than five years, and she shared the special occasion with her fans with a screenshot of the symbolic time and exact date that marked her journey into remarriage and, eventually, motherhood (who could forget that dino-themed party she threw for her son?).

Eric, for his part, was no slouch in the romance department, not only sending Jess a bouquet of gorgeous (and colorful!) flowers, but including a super sweet note to boot.
Awwww, how freakin’ cute is that? Between this and Katy Perry’s inspiring donation, we’re having a better day already.
It’s just another shining example of the wise old adage, “Love conquers all.”
