We'll take any excuse to wear head-to-toe pink.

We had our fair share of Barbies as kids, and now that behind-the-scenes photos from Margot Robbie's film have come out and Halloween is coming up, it only makes sense that we would grab every article of pink clothing that we own for this 2022 pop culture costume.
The best things about this Barbie costume are how easy it is to put together and how customizable it is. You can swap any of these pieces to make it more comfortable (like switching the skates for chunky sneakers) or fancier (like adding extra color to your makeup routine). Bonus points if you have a Ken or a Stacy to match with!
Easy DIY Barbie Costume
After images of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling skating around Venice Beach were released, we knew that a Barbie costume — especially one with skates — would be a good idea. The key to a good Barbie costume is getting as many pink pieces as you can find, and from the leotard to the biker shorts to the knee pads and skates, we think this look came out great!
This costume is great for anyone who likes action (especially if your Halloween party takes place outside). We love that these skates feature pink and purple, considering it was a color combo we've always loved, but you can also go for highlighter yellow to better match the movie and the doll. Don't forget the knee pads!
This classic ponytail and natural makeup is an easy option for this Barbie costume but don't be afraid to add in some extra color. Purple eye shadow or neon eyeliner is always a good idea.
We're ready to party with this Barbie costume!
