Kaitlyn Bristowe has opened up about the body-related pressures that come along with being on The Bachelorette — and her confession, along with her #Realstagram, will both open your eyes and touch your heart.

“I don’t know if you noticed but it feels like if you go on The Bachelor, your body has to be perfect and you have to post about it, like, a lot. Which is a ton of pressure,” the 32-year-old captioned a pic of herself, which she posted to Instagram along with an honest message. “Yes. I’m tiny, but I have cellulite, and insecurities,” she continued. “I’m actually insecure about how scrawny my arms are. I work hard to be healthy, and love my body, but also drink wine and eat McDonalds. (Had it twice this week.)”

She then explained how appearing on The Bachelorette has changed her habits, telling fans that in her travels over the past three weeks, she realized that while she felt grateful for her getaway — “I even said out loud yesterday, ‘I am so lucky’” — she also felt pressure to post about it on social media. “[W]hile I was in Mexico, I thought to myself, if I am here and I don’t take a sexy professional pic in my bikini, did I even go to Mexico? I found myself doing the compare thing.”

That’s when she had a change of heart. “I should have taken a sexy bikini photo. And I should have done it without filtering or editing it, with a bad angle, for a good #Realstagram photo. Because real is sexy too.” That’s why, despite being home (not to mention sick and feeling “puffy”), she decided to get real with her followers. “[H]ere’s my real pic. I’m run down, tired, greasy, full of Mcdonalds, but I had one of the best 3 weeks of my life. Let’s keep this movement going. … #realstagram.”

We love it and we’re totally here for it. #Realstagram, FTW!
