Between shooting This Is Us, creating new music, and being our ultimate Throwback Queen on Instagram, Mandy Moore is a busy gal. The starlet’s pals made sure she took time out to celebrate her engagement to musician Taylor Goldsmith this weekend, however, with the sweetest party organized by her bestie, Raina Penchansky.
Gathering 12 of the actress’ closest friends, digital marketing guru Penchansky (AKA the co-founder of Digital Brand Architects, an agency representing top bloggers) organized a super fun event for her superstar BFF that earned her the title of “bestest friend ever.”
Lucky for us, we got to come along for the ride, with the bride-to-be meticulously documenting every detail of the bash for her 1.5 million followers in a series of envy-inducing Insta Stories. Wearing a cute star-printed dress and a mini crown, the 33-year-old was in plenty good company, as she enjoyed food, drinks, and fun games.
The guest list included actress Minka Kelly, Moore’s This Is Us co-star Susan Kelechi Watson, as well as A-list hair stylist Ashley Streicher, Olive and June founder Sarah Gibson Tuttle, and Goldsmith’s mom, who gave a speech to say “How proud” she was to be gaining such a great daughter-in-law. The decor was predictably Pinterest-perfect, with a gorgeous gold sign that read “Mandy” and “Taylor,” plus pretty DIY origami place settings that had us taking note.
Also on the agenda were plenty of silly and adorbs games, like bridal emoji pictionary, in which guests had to guess the words and phrases written out in emojis (a task Kelly proved to be rather good at).
From there, it was time for some good ol’ fashioned Pictionary, which seemed to be more up Moore’s alley, who easily guessed “tuxedo” after seeing nothing more than a stick figure rocking a bowtie. Impressive, BB!
After all was said and done, the blushing fiancée couldn’t help but gush about the party one last time, taking to Instagram to share a snap in which all of her fave ladies rocked fabulous plastic crowns and let the world know just how loved she felt.
“My heart bursts for each and every one of these ladies,” the TV startlet wrote. “If you are the company you keep, then I am in excellent standing. Thank you @rp1313 for being the greatest hostess/sister/bff and for giving us all a reason to hang, celebrate, and enjoy some delightful gluten-free tea sandwiches (and wine) like ladies do.”
We’re officially jealous! Congratulations, Mandy!
