By Humankind’s The Razor ($39), which includes The Razor, one cartridge, and a carrying case, forgoes the long handle in favor of a small, soft silicon handle that fits comfortably in your hand, like a cell phone. It turns out that holding it closer to the base by your fingertips is the most effective method for a close shave — something professional barbers have known forever.
The standing design of The Razor prevents contact with wet surfaces when not in use because, guess what — your wet bathroom surface is a breeding ground for bacteria.
By Humankind’s name is based on the idea that the tool is for all humankind, not men or women specifically. It works anywhere on your body, including legs, faces, and armpits.
