Pies + DIYs: Upgrade Your Backpack

Welcome to another episode of Pies + DIYs! Believe it or not, it’s time to head back to school. Today we are showing you how to update a basic backpack with pom-pom trim and embroidery floss. I started by using a hot glue gun to attach pom-pom trim around the perimeter of the backpack. Next I wrote out my favorite phrase — I love pie — in pencil and stitched it with embroidery floss. I used a basic stitch to embroider the letters but I suggest getting fancier and using a chain link stitch to really make those letters stand out!
