Fans of this year鈥檚 runaway smash hit Wonder Woman were over the moon this summer to learn that a sequel is already聽in the works. At the moment, we don鈥檛 know much about the next installment of the newly minted franchise, besides that it鈥檒l be helmed (like the first) by Patty Jenkins, and that star Gal Gadot will reprise her role as Diana Prince. But Robin Wright 鈥 who played Diana鈥檚 Aunt General Antiope and was one of the highlights of the movie 鈥 would love to be involved.

(Spoilers ahead!)

Though Wright鈥檚 character died during one of the first battles in the movie, her character聽was accidentally confirmed (along with Diana鈥檚 mother, Hippolyta, played by Connie Nielsen) for the upcoming Justice League movie, with some speculating that she will appear in flashbacks or be resurrected. Either way, Wright is down for more WW.

鈥淥h, absolutely I鈥檇 go back and do a sequel,鈥 the actress said in an interview with E! News to promote her upcoming movie, Blade Runner 2049. 鈥淔or sure! Come on. Girl power!鈥

As for whether the cast and crew of Wonder Woman knew how successful the movie would be, Wright said that while they didn鈥檛 know for sure, they 鈥渉ad a hunch鈥 that it would be a hit.

We鈥檒l have to wait a while to see what happens in the sequel, so for now, any talk of Antiope鈥檚 return is just hopeful speculation about one of the coolest action stars we never knew we needed.
