Oprah Winfrey Threw the Wonder Woman-Themed Party of Our Dreams
Yesterday, Oprah Winfrey took to her Instagram account to share snaps of a party she was planning to celebrate the success of the global phenomenon that is Wonder Woman. Winfrey shared every detail of the party, from swag to the incredible Gal Gadot-topped cake, online, giving us a major case of FOMO.
With wrist bands, tiaras, and popcorn bowls at the ready, Winfrey’s party was WW top to bottom. In her signature excited yell, the former talk show queen shared every single bit of swag she’d prepared for the 28 lucky kids who were invited to her private film screening room to check out the strongest woman in the world. Each of the kids got a pair of Wonder Woman flip-flops and a piece of the most perfect cake.
Topping the cake off with a fondant sculpture of Gadot in her signature Wonder Woman pose, Winfrey cheered that it was a “crowning moment” for the day. She even shared a short clip of two private chefs preparing an incredible spread of food for the kids.
While we have no idea how a kid (or even an adult) gets an invite to a private screening party at the daytime queen’s house, it’s clear that just like the rest of us, Winfrey is in love with Wonder Woman. With a sequel to the film already confirmed, maybe we’ll see Winfrey flex her producer muscles and get involved with the next flick.
