If Bridgerton season 3 part 1 had me giggling and kicking my feet, I'm expecting to lose my mind during season 3 part 2. Especially since the finale made executive producer Shonda Rhimes cry?! On June 4, Shonda made an appearance on the Today Show to chat all things Bridgerton, including the final four episodes of season 3, which drop on Netflix June 13.

When Al Roker asked about part 2, Shonda Rhimes revealed that the final four episodes are very moving. “We’re very secretive about it but I will say it is sexy and surprising in many ways,” she says. “And also, I cried at the end. I found it very moving, and I don’t always cry. So I really got into it. I think it’s a beautiful story.”
Bridgerton season 3 part 2 will pick up right where part 1 left off — with an engagement, some secrets, and plenty of romance. And all I can say is that when we finally see Penelope and Eloise make up, I'll probably be crying, too.

I also got a bit emotional myself when I spoke to Adjoa Andoh (who plays Lady Danbury on the hit series) about what Bridgerton season 3 means to her — and her advice for the wallflowers who resonate with Penelope Featherington. "Our time will come," she says. "The world is amazing and interesting and just dive into your curiosity. Think about what's fabulous about you and lean hard in on that, and don't wait for someone else to give you the confirmation that you are as fabulous as you should know you are."
