Getting engaged is a huge and totally life-changing deal (if you’re newly engaged, we’re here to help plan your wedding) — after all, you’re promising to spend the rest of your lives together. When William Ledbetter asked his girlfriend Paige Evans to marry him, he received the “yes” he was definitely hoping to hear (high-five, dude!), but the new groom-to-be still had one more question to ask from a very special person in his life: his GF’s five-year-old daughter Maddie.
In the Youtube vid titled, “After proposing to the love of my life I had to include my little princess,” William kneels down to let the little one know what’s up. Her reaction to the news of impending nuptials? “You’re gonna marry?” Then plenty of squeals of delight. Even the family pup gets in on the excitement as it runs all over the kitchen. But here comes the heart-squelching part. William pulls out a tiny ring box and asks the excited little girl, “Do you want to be my daughter forever too?” *BRB crying*
And guess what? She said yes :) “I proposed to my girlfriend tonight,” William captioned the video, “but I wanted my sweet little girl to be included in the excitement as well.” Well done, and congratulations to the happy family!
