For years now, we鈥檝e relied on Target collaborations to provide us with some much-needed (not to mention stylish) seasonal wardrobe updates that won鈥檛 totally put our bank account into a code red-type situation. But when we heard about Target鈥檚 upcoming 鈥渢artan takeover鈥 with designer Adam Lippes a few months back, we were a little bit skeptical. How many plaid pieces do you really need? But friends, we鈥檒l be the first to admit that we were sorely mistaken. Target just released the lookbook for the upcoming fall collaboration, and we kind of want everything.

The fall styles are cozy, but super sleek at the same time. In the minimal collection, you鈥檒l find collared dresses, slim blouses and a slew of stylish outerwear pieces. And yes, everything is plaid, but it doesn鈥檛 feel like the loud plaid we鈥檙e accustomed to. The black and white dress can easily be paired with one of the line鈥檚 jackets. A poncho could also be easily be paired with a patterned pump.

Lippes tells Vogue, 鈥淭he mood of the Target collection is the same as I really convey in the main collection. It鈥檚 refined, elegant, and elevated pieces that a woman can have in a wardrobe and keep and take going forward.鈥

While this line is definitely what we鈥檙e eyeing the most, it鈥檚 only part of the 鈥渢artan takeover鈥 Target has planned. On their blog, they announced that you鈥檒l also find everything from Diet Coke bottles and shampoo bottles to ChapStick tubes and paper towels decked out in the pattern. There are a whopping 360 products included in the line.

Lippes鈥 50-item collection is set to hit shelves on September 22nd. If you need us the night before, we鈥檒l be setting up shop outside our favorite red-and-white palace.
