What is The Family Next Door About?

The Family Next Door tells the story of Isabelle, a reserved and mysterious writer who is running as far as she can get from her troubled past. Currently, she has run in the direction of Osprey Point, where she rents a home in order to conduct research for an article on the new terrain. Despite its shiny and pleasant surface, she soon discovers there's little that's "pleasant" about it.
Along the way, she forms a group of friends with a whole collection of intense secrets of their own. While these ladies look picture-perfect and sunny on the outside, what goes on behind closed doors is a whole different story. This series touches on everything, from the trials and tribulations of motherhood, marriage, and postpartum depression. Fortunately, these women have one another to lean on as they struggle to cope amid their destructive home lives.
