Taylor Swift has never really had an easy go of it when it comes to the onslaught of public reactions to her break-ups. With a relationship record that isn’t at all abnormal (except for the fact that she dates some of Hollywood’s hottest hotties), she sees more than her fair share of criticism. The trolls and outspoken peeps have been having a field day from the moment she moved on from Calvin Harris and started a new flame with Tom Hiddleston.
But not everyone scorns Tay for her dating trials. One person who’s stepping up to defend Swift may not be the first person you think of when it comes to Taylor’s #girlsquad, but it is someone who knows what it’s like to be shamed for their choices: Amber Rose.
“I feel like guys do that all the time — they break up and the next day, they’re with another girl and nobody really says anything,” Amber observed while chatting with The Daily Beast.
She then showed Swift some serious support by continuing, “[There is criticism of Taylor] is because it’s unheard of, and she’s acting very ‘slutty’… That’s how people look at it, and it’s just like, hell no! If I’m done, why do I have to sit in the house and be lonely?” *genuine applause*
Whatever may be best for each individual when it comes to the break-up/moving-on process, Tay is doing what she feels is best for her, and that’s all you can ask of her. And really, hooking up with Tom Hiddleston can’t be too bad of a move no matter how you choose to look at it.
