This Amazing Lamp Can Be Customized in 10 Billion Ways
We love bright colors and fun shapes, and we’ve always been big fans of mix-and-match home decor. We have to admit, though, that we’ve never seen any single object quite as customizable as the Alphabeta lamp. Made in Italy, the brushed metal lamp is constructed from nearly endless combinations of eight pendants that come in different sizes and colors, all of which are compatible with one another. The mix-and-match possibilities of this lamp are so plentiful, in fact, that its makers say it can literally be customized in 10 billion different ways.
Ranging in diameter from 3.3-13 inches, with height options spanning from 2.6-8.2 inches, the lamp components are paired up to compose a single lamp. Each part comes in black, white and a signature color, making it super simple to complement almost any decor scheme. With a cord that extends up to six and a half feet, it’s perfect for spaces with tall ceilings.
Designed exclusively for Hem, the hanging lamp can be assembled in a mere 60 seconds. Shipping directly to 35 countries via an online shop and brick-and-mortar Hem stores, the lamps are available in more than 50 countries. Granted, they’re not cheap — most combinations hover above the $1,300 mark — but if this doesn’t serve as a major source of DIY inspiration, nothing does.
