Chris Hemsworth Napping With His Kids Is the Sweetest Thing EVER

While Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are not quite commenting on their on-again engagement, big bro Chris Hemsworth is living the family-life dream. After recently proving himself to be the cutest dad in the world by making his little girl’s birthday cake (while also flashing some Thor-worthy biceps), his love, Elsa Pataky, has now captured a pic of her hubby napping with their little ones in a moment that might seriously be the sweetest thing EVER.

While appearing to be on a plane, jetting around the world during their busy celeb schedules, the parenting pair who always travel together with their little ones (“together everything is better!”), Chris and two of his three kiddos cuddle while totally asleep. Four-year-old India Rose slumps against her papa as one of their two-year-old twin sons hugs his daddy, with Chris wrapping his arms around both. Excuse us while our hearts explode.

Elsa shared the pic on her Instagram account with the caption, “Nothing better than sleeping in papa’s arms!” (also adding the line in her native Spanish) as well as popping in a string of adorable hashtags including #bestmoments and #lovethemsomuch.

As if the pic couldn’t get any better, you’ll definitely want to note the open bag of chips propped between the kids. Even Norse superhero gods like to snack, obviously. Especially if they’re also parents who happen to have their hands full.

Korean culture continues to become more prevalent around the world. This not only includes the cosmetics industry with its 10-step skincare routine or K-pop artists like EXO, BTS, or Stray Kids, but also all the culinary delights that Korean cuisine brings. And today, we're talking about Japchae. The reason I love Japchae — and you will too — is that it's pretty easy to make once you're done with the prep work, and you can definitely make it in advance and store it (properly) for a day or two. The beauty of Japchae lies not only in its rich flavors but also in its simple preparation. Get ready to enjoy the authentic taste of Korea with each forkful of this irresistible Japchae (Korean Stir-Fried Noodles) recipe from Just One Cookbook.

Everything You Should Know About Japchae

Originally prepared as a royal dish, Japchae, which translates as mixed vegetables, has evolved over time to become a staple in Korean households and an essential part of celebratory feasts and special occasions. Today, Japchae is enjoyed by people of all ages and is a versatile dish that can be served as a main course, a side dish, or even as a filling for Korean-style wraps.

Dangmyeon, or glass noodles, are an integral component of Japchae. Don't make the mistake of substituting it with other types of glass noodles, as it changes the dish completely. These Korean noodles are naturally fat-free and low in calories, making them a healthy choice for noodle lovers.

You can eat it hot, at room temperature, or even cold. It makes a great on-the-go lunch, as the noodles don't get soggy!

Japchae Korean Stir Fry Recipe Steps:

Just One Cookbook

1. Cut all the ingredients into thin strips

It's crucial to slice the ingredients uniformly so they blend seamlessly with the long noodles. This ensures that when you take a bite, the vegetables, eggs, and meat will adhere to the noodles, creating a harmonious medley of flavors.

2. Cook each ingredient separately through stir-frying, blanching, or other appropriate methods

As each ingredient has its own unique texture and cooking time, it's essential to treat them individually. Stir-frying them all together in one pan would result in inconsistent textures, with some vegetables becoming wilted before others are properly cooked. By cooking them separately, we can maintain the vibrant color hue of each ingredient.

3. Combine all the prepared ingredients

Once everything is cooked and ready, transfer them to a spacious platter or bowl. Begin by pouring the sauce over the noodles, allowing them to absorb the delightful flavors. After the noodles are well-coated, it's time to mix everything together and then get ready to get hooked to the Korean cuisine.

We're certainly no stranger to summertime salads, but making the same salad recipe over and over again can get... tiring. Sweetgreen's spicy cashew dressing departs from all things basic, boring, and bland, infusing a cashew-based sauce with zesty lime and chili to drizzle atop your leafy greens. And while it's easy AF to hop on over to their online ordering tab and pay a mere $20 for a *single* serving of this spicy goodness, it's surprisingly easier (and cheaper!) to just make the dressing at home. Behold – homemade Sweetgreen Spicy Cashew Dressing, courtesy of Planted In The Kitchen.

Is Sweetgreen's Spicy Cashew Dressing healthy?

The Sweetgreen Spicy Cashew Dressing is healthy. Since it gets its nutritional value from cashews, the dressing is low in sugar and rich in fiber, plus it provides heart-healthy fats and plant protein.

Ingredients to Make the Sweetgreen Spicy Cashew Dressing

This abundant mix of ingredients all come together to form a deliciously creamy salad dressing, a la Sweetgreen. All you need on the equipment front is a blender strong enough to emulsify everything!
  • ½ cup cashews
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp cool water
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1 lime juiced
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

How to Make Sweetgreen's Spicy Cashew Dressing

The only heavy-lifting you might be doing to make this recipe is pressing the button on your blender. It's *that* easy!
  1. Start by prepping your cashews. Carefully combine the cashews with about 1 cup of boiling water. Set the cashew and water combination aside for about 2 hours to allow the cashews to soften.
  2. Drain the water from the cashews and give them a quick rinse.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the dressing to a salad, power bowl, or however you would like.

I am head over heels in love with all things Bridgerton. The relationships, the characters, the Gossip Girl-meets-Jane Austen storylines. After waiting far too long for a sneak peek of season 3, Netflix *finally* released exclusive images that continue to have us shipping Polin (Penelope and Colin, of course.).

Liam Daniel/Netflix

Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) — who moonlights as town gossip Lady Whistledown — touted pale blue dresses that complemented her red hair, styled in soft waves.

"Do contain your excitement," the show tweeted, adding on Instagram, "The author is about to become the main character."

And according to Nicola, fans are in for a wild ride. The actress described her season as "magical," "romantic" and "quite scandalous" while speaking at Tudum's Brazil event, per Shondaland.

Colin doesn't look too shabby either.

(Hopefully) a happy couple in the works!

...Or not as happy as we thought.

Why is Penelope wearing more blues and greens than her staple yellows?

It's clear throughout the first season that each family has their own color representing the journey ahead of them — the beloved Bridgertons wear sophisticated blues and lavenders while the Featheringtons wear loud yellows as they try to climb the social ladder.

This is very intentional, and throughout season 3 we'll see Penelope transition from her staple yellow dresses into more greens and blues, a symbol of her union with Colin Bridgerton. Costume designer Sophie Canale confirmed this color theory to People, sharing that the green dress Penelope wears in episode four was a nod to her future relationship with Colin. After all, green *is* a mix of yellow and blue.

In the beginning of the season, Penelope and her mother are both wearing green instead of their usual lemon yellow. But instead of a pastel green like her previous dress, this one is very vibrant and tinged with a lot of warm tones. Even if Penelope is growing, the ties to her family are still strong.

Considering season two ended with Penelope getting into a fight with Eloise — and overhearing Colin say he would never court her — it makes sense that Penelope would turn more into her family than ever before. However, in an on-set interview with This Morning, Coughlan wore a dress that appears to be a muted seafoam, meaning it features more blue than yellow.

If Penelope wears lime at the beginning of the season and seafoam at the end, it's a perfect representation of her emotional arc. She moves from feeling overshadowed by her family to being embraced by Colin (hopefully sooner rather than later!!), and it creates a whole new color just for her.

Penelope is, and always will be, a mix of both Featherington and her love for Colin. Good thing for us, Canale takes us on that journey with her.

What is the new season of Bridgerton about?

After giving up on whether Colin could ever return her feelings, Penelope decides to find a husband who will give her the independence she needs as Lady Whistledown. But when Colin offers to help her along the way, and his help begins to pay off, he realizes that his feelings for her might be more than platonic.

Which couple will season 3 of Bridgerton be about?

Bridgerton season 3 will focus on Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. This is the first time fans will get to see a couple they've been rooting for since the beginning, and I can't wait!

When is Bridgerton season 3 is coming out?

We don't have a release date for season 3 of Bridgerton yet, but we're hoping to see it by Christmas. Until then, catch up on the first two seasons, as well as the prequel series Queen Charlotte, on Netflix.

Does Daphne appear in season 3 of Bridgerton?

No, Daphne will not be in season 3 of Bridgerton. Actress Phoebe Dynevor revealed she wouldn't return to the series at the Sundance Film Festival inJanuary of 2023.

Keep up to date with our Bridgerton news and let us know in the comments what you're looking forward to seeing in the new season!

Instant ramen, a plastic-wrapped snack once dull and uninspiring, can be *effortlessly* transformed into a satisfying feast in fewer steps than you may think. You can seriously amp up the excitement (beyond that lousy seasoning packet) using a medley of vibrant veggies, adding protein, or tossing in a few pantry staples you already have on-hand. These 5 ingenious instant ramen hacks from YouTuber Lisa Nguyen turn the beloved squiggly noodles into a fun food adventure, proving that even the most basic ingredients can create culinary magic.

1. Add any leftover proteins you have on-hand to your ramen.

First, level up your instant ramen by adding a protein source. Whether it's grilled chicken, sautéed shrimp, or savory tofu, these proteins rebuild your bowl into a more filling meal. With each flavorful bite, you'll savor the perfect balance of noodles and nourishment – perfect for a work lunch, or lazy dinner. Because we all know that the noodles alone won't last you long.

2. Throw in some charred veggies.

Injecting your instant ramen with cooked veggies ups the overall color and nutrients, making for a more rewarding dish. Consider sprinkling crunchy bell peppers, zesty green onions, or shredded carrots atop the bed of noodles – this quick and easy step creates *such* a harmonious (and unforgettable!) blend of flavors, that you won't want to make ramen any other way.

3. Make a ramen grilled cheese sandwich.

Instant ramen is surprisingly bangin' when paired with cheese. Each one complements the other both in taste and texture, too. With this grilled cheese instant ramen hack, the chewy noodles meet a layer of ooey-gooey cheese for a *most* satisfying mouthful. Just pile on the cooked noodles and cheese of your choice! Oftentimes, the saltiness of the cheese can help balance out the umami notes of the ramen, and from there, you're immersed in a total flavor heaven.

4. Add a spoonful of peanut butter to the broth.

A sweet and spicy flavor combo is always killer, and this step to spice up your instant ramen is exact proof. Peanut butter adds a distinct richness to ramen broth, enhancing the overall complexity of the noodle meal. Some of us simply like it fancier, which is why this hack is *perfect* for elevating ramen in a pinch. Lisa Nguyen also backs this method since the PB makes the broth a little thicker, enhancing each and every bite you take.

5. Fry up some eggs and SPAM to top everything off.

Photo by Antoni Shkraba / PEXELS

Egg and Spam are *arguably* the yummiest ramen add-ons ever. The meaty texture of Spam provides a satisfying contrast to soft ramen noodles, all while highlighting superb saltiness. Eggs are not only a good source of protein to add to your instant ramen, but the textures they bring create a playful bowl. Get creative with preparing your ramen eggs in different ways for maximum enjoyment!
