Dark Chocolate Oreos Are Here and We Like Them Even More Than the Original

Our Thoughts On The Keto Starbucks Pink Drink

First, we tried the OG Pink Drink to know what the Keto version is up against. The original is a blend of coconut milk, Strawberry Acai Starbucks Refreshers (a caffeinated juice, basically), and freeze-dried strawberry slices. One sip, and OMG. We get the craze.

The Starbucks Pink Drink tastes like a pink Starburst, a party in your mouth. It was really an explosion of sweet and tangy strawberry flavor.

When it came to make the Keto version, our barista was not super enthusiastic about this tall order, and was confused, TBH. To order the Keto Pink Drink from Starbucks, ask for the following:

• Iced sugar-free strawberry green tea infusion
• 1 pump of sugar-free vanilla
• Heavy cream
• Freeze-dried strawberries

My barista accidentally made me two drinks: one with the sugar-free passion iced tea, and the other with the sugar-free strawberry green tea infusion.

I do not recommend the one with the sugar-free passion iced tea base. While the color is still that perfect pink, the flavor is lacking. It tastes like a semi-sweet iced tea with cream, which tastes just as weird as it sounds.

The sugar-free strawberry green tea infusion is so much better. It’s more like a strawberry shortcake, but not as sweet. The drink’s hint of green tea balances the flavors, plus offers a caffeine boost (passion fruit iced tea is herbal and non-caffeinated).

All this said, compared to the OG Pink Drink, the sugar-free, Keto version is disappointing. It tastes nothing like a pink Starburst, and even the strawberry flavor was pretty subtle!

The original Pink Drink still wins our hearts, as it’s much sweeter than the other drinks (because of the sugar, duh!), but also has a lot more flavor. Ultimately, we learned that the diet versions of our favorite beverages never taste as good as we expect them to, so be open-minded.

If you’re not comparing the the Keto Pink Drink to the OG Pink Drink, you might enjoy the Keto version for what it is: a refreshing, slightly sweet, and creamy pink beverage, ideal for hot summer days.

7. Speculoos Cookie Butter

I could really be unhinged and eat this cookie butter out of the jar as dessert – that's how yum it is. Seriously, if you haven't tried this sweet spread, you're missing out! The Speculoos Cookie Butter tastes just like a Biscoff cookie, and one heaping spoonful will do you right for a super easy midnight snack. If you wanna be extra, you can blend some into a homemade milkshake or even drizzle it over a bowl of vanilla ice cream!

6. Gluten-Free Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffins

I am not gluten-free, but these gluten-free muffins are the very best variety that TJ's offers, in my opinion. When I tried them for the first time, I'd expected them to be dry and crumbly, as most of the GF snacks I'd had experience with were. That wasn't the case at all! These coffee cake muffins are very tender and moist, and the cinnamon-y flavor is impeccable – even better with an actual cup of coffee. They're ridden with little crunchy "cinnamon bits" that keep the snacking experience interesting.

5. Chocolate Vanilla Creme Joe-Joe's

I love Trader Joe's version of Oreos more than I like actual Oreos, I fear! Joe-Joe's are not overwhelmingly sugary like Oreos are, but they're still considerably sweet. You can just tell they're thoughtfully made with more natural ingredients. Chocolate wafers with vanilla filling is an undeniable classic, and you need to dunk these in cold milk to really see what all the fuss is about. Now, I'm just waiting on TJ's to make a double-stuffed version! Gimme all the icing.

4. Super Chocolatey Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough

When it comes to Trader Joe's desserts, this frozen cookie dough ranks fourth. As much as I enjoy baking my own creations, this pack of a dozen cookies yields the exact chocolate chip cookies I want – packed with tons of chocolate, gooey in the middle, crispy around the edges – the whole thing. And they're perfect. They taste best warm and melty out of the oven, but they also keep well in sealed tupperware!

3. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

For me, convenience is key when it comes to sweet treat o'clock, so Trader Joe's desserts that come in finger food form are my most-loved! I swear these stout lil' bites are better than Reese's cups (still love you, Reese's) by a long shot. They're made with dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate, plus the outer coating is so much thicker and satisfyingly crunchy. The PB filling is smooth and addicting. I recommend keeping these cups in the fridge or freezer, but you do you!

2. Chocolatey Coated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dunkers

All of these Trader Joe's desserts are worthy of adding to your cart, but these crispy dunkers take the cake (or rather, the cookie) for second place. I could talk for hours about these thin, chocolate-dipped cookies. They are the perfect match for a tall glass of milk at the end of the day. They soak up the milk in such a magical way without ever falling apart! Think of these dunkers as your traditional CCC (chocolate chip cookie) without the fuss of baking.

1. Brookie

The Trader Joe's Brookie and I are BFFs. I especially enjoy the size of this dessert, since all I need to feel satisfied is one square. Each cookie-brownie hybrid is hearty, thick, and full of chewy, chocolatey goodness (if you can't tell by now, I love chocolate)! The cookie side is flaky at the same time, with tons of yummy texture contrasting with the brownie half. As much as I like snacking on these by themselves, I think they're even better when you microwave a few and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ross and Rachel from Friends

Friends is one of the most iconic sitcoms of all times, and Ross and Rachel is definitely one of the most devastating TV breakups. In season 3, this iconic couple decides to take a break in and in "The One with the Morning After," Ross wakes up with another woman named Chloe at the exact moment Rachel shows up at his door. Rachel finds out about the affair, and after a fight in Monica's living room, the couple calls it quits.

Regardless of how you feel about Ross claiming they "were on a break" when he slept with Chloe, seeing Rachel's reaction (and knowing the trust between them was broken) is one of the worst moments in the whole show. Just thinking about it makes my stomach bottom out!

Rory and Jess from Gilmore Girls

This is one of my personal most-devastating TV breakups because it seems like, out of all of Rory's boyfriends, Rory and Jess are just perfect for each other when they start dating. Not only does their love of books bring them closer together, but their personalities are so compatible. But when Jess leaves for California at the end of season 3 — without saying anything to Rory, I might add — is unacceptable! It breaks my heart, and based on the final look he gives Rory during A Year in the Life, he also regrets it BIG TIME.

Damon and Elena from The Vampire Diaries

This Vampire Diaries couple was truly endgame, and the will-they-won't-they of it all was one of my favorite things about the show. So when they broke up (to my horror), I was devastated.

Damon and Elena admit they're bad for each other in the season 5 episode "While You Were Sleeping" (then Damon tells her he doesn't even want to be friends. Ouch!!), but it's the season finale, "Home," that makes me extra emotional. When Damon gets stuck with Bonnie on the Other Side, he says goodbye to Elena, who's begging him not to leave but can neither see nor hear him. Say it with me: gut! wrenching!

Conrad and Belly from The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Summer I Turned Pretty fans are PASSIONATE about whether they're team Conrad or team Jeremiah (trick question, my OTP is Taylor and Stephen), and even the most dedicated Conrad stan hates the prom scene. You know, when he breaks up with Belly at her prom, in the rain. I know he just thinks Belly deserves better, but it's still very painful to watch.

Schmidt and Cece from New Girl

When I hear "devastating TV breakup" I IMMEDIATELY think of Schmidt and Cece from New Girl. Schmidt gets away with a lot of ridiculous things throughout this show, but dating two girls at one time is not one of them. After Nick has a hard time keeping Schmidt's love life a secret, Schmidt finally comes clean to Cece in "Double Date," leaving both her and me in tears. No matter how many times you rewatch the show, it truly feels like their relationship (and maybe even the friend group) will never recover.

Fleabag and The Priest on Fleabag

In the history of TV, I don't think I've ever heard anything as heartbreaking as "I love you," "It'll pass." Like, who approved that line?! The viral moment comes at the end of the Fleabag series finale, when Fleabag is sitting with The Priest at the bus stop. Over the course of the series, we not only see how much these two care about each other, but how well they know each other (like how The Priest recognizes when Fleabag zones out). To be loved is to be known, and that's what makes this devastating TV breakup even more devastating.

Carrie and Aidan on Sex and the City

After so much back and forth, it's hard to accept Carrie and Aidan's final breakup on SATC. But in season 4's "Change of a Dress," Carrie realizes she's not ready for marriage and Aidan realizes he doesn't trust her after her affair with Big. The combo of broken trust and being at two different life stages makes this extra painful to watch, and I don't think any amount of rewatches (or And Just Like That binges) is going to change that.
