Bowls are kind of the ultimate Instagram food at the moment. Between coconut bowls, the ever-popular acai bowls and Buddha bowls, it鈥檚 a wonder we鈥檙e using plates for anything anymore. But there鈥檚 one OG bowl food that you might be underestimating: cereal. It鈥檚 not quite as glamorous as all the rest, but it looks like that might not be the case for long. Major cereal brand Kellogg鈥檚 just opened up a gourmet cereal cafe in New York City.

Okay, so uh, what exactly is a gourmet cereal cafe? Kellogs has partnered with Anthony Rudolf, the General Manager of three-Michelin-star restaurant Per Se. Together they鈥檝e created a cereal pop-up shop that will include both basic cereal and innovative cereal combos. WTF is an 鈥渋nnovative cereal combo?鈥 Well, for starters you might try the pistachio lemon bowl, which includes Special K Original, Frosted Flakes, pistachios, lemon zest and thyme.

A few other notable mentions: the 鈥淵ou鈥檙e Cracklin鈥 Me Up鈥 bowl (Cracklin鈥 Oat Bran, dried cranberries, white chocolate and toasted coconut) and the 鈥淏erry Me in Green Tea鈥 bowl (Rice Krispies, sliced fresh strawberries and green tea powder), which was actually created to be eaten in the afternoon. Check out the full menu here.

The cafe will be open from July 4 to 12. The gourmet cereal bowls are priced at $7.50 for a regular and $6.50 for a small. That鈥檚 definitely steep for the basic breakfast staple but, not gonna lie, we鈥檇 buy it.
