John Krasinski Says He’d Love to Get the ‘Office’ Cast Back Together
With news buzzing that a revival of The Office might be in the works, we’ve been looking back at some of our favorite Jim Halpert-Dwight Schrute pranks. Details about the reboot are scarce, though — even Jim Halpert himself, John Krasinski, is in the dark.
Asked about a potential Office comeback in a new interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actor said that he had heard about it, but that he hadn’t received any insider info from the people responsible for the show. Instead, he found out about the buzz the same way the rest of us did — on the internet.
“Guess who didn’t get a call? Me,” he quipped. “What does that say? NBC’s like, ‘You know who we didn’t like? Jim.'”
DeGeneres voiced our own view of that unlikely scenario, saying, “They wouldn’t do it without you.” But Krasinski is just considering the facts. “Well, it looks like they are. I haven’t gotten a call yet,” he reminded her, adding, “I was just looking for a phone. Imagine if they were like, ‘Will you?’ And I’m like, ‘Let’s suit up.'” (We can totally imagine that, BTW.)
As for how he would respond if he did get a call about the reboot, the Quiet Place star (and director!) told DeGeneres, “Oh my god, are you kidding? I’d love to get that gang back together.”
Watch the full interview below! (You’ll LOL at his stories about his daughters.)
