6 Makeup Essentials to Try This Weekend for Under $15
Another week down, y’all — congrats. The week before a holiday is generally pretty crazy — this week was no exception — so we’re all happy for the weekend to (finalllly) be here for us to savor and enjoy. First things first, though: Before you head out for happy hour, freshen up! Swipe on a tinted lip gloss, brighten your cheeks with some healthy color and top it all off with some killer lashes. Boom! Here are six under-$15 weekend makeup essentials that’ll have you looking and feeling bomb from Friday through Sunday.
Power up your pout with a swipe of tinted lipgloss before you start celebrating the end of the week with drinks. Stila Lip Glaze ($8) comes in mini sizes, so they’re the perfect small product to toss in your purse as you head out the door — you can’t go wrong with any shade, either. After your lips are on point, focus on your glow. Pixi Fair Dust ($10) is a multi-purpose product that you can use as an all-over highlighter: on your brow bones, the bridge of your nose, your cheekbones and anywhere else you think needs a little boost of radiance.
YOUR NIGHT O.U.T. LOOK
Before you head out for a night on the town with your friends, cover up your under-eye circles so you look rested and ready to take on the night. Give Marcelle CC Concealer ($13) a try — not only will it hide your dark circles, but it also helps to correct them (score!) After that, give your cheeks a pop of pretty color. Bronzer is great and all, but people often forget that a little blush goes a *long* way. Milani Rose Powder Blush ($8) is formulated to be super blendable and natural looking, so you don’t have to worry about streaks.
YOUR BRUNCH WITH BESTIES LOOK
Still recovering from last night’s escapades? It’s fine — we won’t judge — but you need to look ready for brunch! Pat on Glossier Balm Dotcom ($12) to areas of your face that need a little extra moisture and glow; this balm is so versatile you can use it for both moisturizing and highlighting. After that, curl and then comb through your lashes with Tweezerman Folding i-Lashcomb ($12). Even if you choose not to wear mascara to brunch (again, no judgement here), your lashes will look more separated and clean if you brush through ‘em.
