Outlander fans have been hooked ever since the time-traveling romance first hit screens back in 2014. With seven seasons under its belt and an eighth and final one on the way, the series has become a go-to for anyone who adores epic love stories and historical drama.

The spinoff takes us deeper into the past, weaving together two compelling origin stories: the wartime romance of Claire's parents, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, and the love story of Jamie's parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser.

Jamie Roy and Harriet Slater are tackling the roles of Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie in the prequel. Their story will show how they came together in 18th-century Scotland.
Jamie looks undeniably dashing with his slicked-back hair and linen button-down shirt as Harriet leans against his shoulder with an enchanting gaze. It's safe to say fans should prepare to swoon.

Yes, Blood of my Blood serves as an Outlander prequel, and follows Jamie and Claire's parents.
Jeremy Irvine's Henry Beauchamp (AKA Claire's father), looks to have a lot on his mind as he sits back in front of a roaring fire to read the paper. Is this before or after he meets Julia Moriston? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Where did Outlander: Blood of My Blood film?

Outlander: Blood of My Blood has some beautiful locations, and was shot around Scotland.
Jeremy seems to keep the same sturdy facial expression while lounging on a picnic blanket with Julia, portrayed by Hermione Corfield. The pose is enough to send your pulse skyrocketing, but can we take a moment to talk about her combat boot, button-down skirt, and overcoat outfit? Talk about chic.

It's unclear what struggles Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie are going to face together, which is what makes this image so compelling. As they stand amidst the brush, and actors Jamie and Harriet hold hands while staring into each other's eyes, are they pulling each other closer or walking away? The look on Harriet's face feels unsettling, so it could possibly be the latter.

Finally, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to spotlight this image of character Henry and Julia as she leans forward, gazing at his lips. We're definitely interrupting something, but we're not mad about it.
