Talented artist Romo Jack is making waves 鈥 or more like awesomely styled vignettes 鈥 in the Instagram world. With his new project,聽#whatmyhandsdoing, this 22-year-old artist from Jakarta, Indonesia is exploring a聽myriad of different mediums and artistic styles through his hands. These shots are a sort of bird鈥檚 eye view of all things artsy, DIY and maker-inspired, and we can鈥檛 get enough of 鈥檈m.

With everything from tattooing to puzzling, crafting and聽cooking, these shots put the everyday into a new and beautiful light.聽By exploring mediums through his hands, Jack is creating a visual hands-on journey that anyone 鈥 artistic or not 鈥 can appreciate. 鈥淛ust like how my eyes are always seeing from the time I wake up from bed to the time I fall back asleep, my hands are also doing something every second,鈥 Jack聽told Instagram. 鈥淭here might be thousands, even millions of things our hands have got to do.鈥 And as avid makers, DIYers and all-around doers, we couldn鈥檛 agree more.

Jack has even inspired other artists, makers and creative thinkers to follow the #whatmyhandsdoing trend by posting their own beautiful shots. And who knows, maybe this will pave the way for other聽creative hashtags that are geared toward using your hands for more than just applying filters and crafting witty聽hashtags. (ahem, #iamcreative)
