Selena Gomez and Pat McGrath’s New Collab Involves a Ton of Sequins
Selena Gomez might just be the top contender for Best Year Ever. She’s Vogue’s newest cover star, has an h-o-t new chocolate mauve hair color, and a killer gig as the face of Coach. But the “It Ain’t Me” singer’s latest news may be the most exciting yet.
Thanks to a cryptic Instagram, we know that The Weeknd’s new bae is partnering with Pat Mcgrath, the mastermind behind cultish-ly followed makeup bestsellers, including Skin Fetish and Lust, for her latest Coach project.

While we don’t have a whole lot of deets so far, we DO have this teaser vid to puzzle over while we wait to hear more.
The video posted on McGrath’s IG features the ladies blowing a handful of sequins at the camera. We can only assume the duo will be taking the sparkle trend next level in their top secret collab. “I had the most MAJOR time with the most gorgeous and DIVINE @selenagomez,” she wrote. “Working on a secret project with @coach!
Neither Coach nor Gomez were much help, keeping totally mum on their respective accounts, but the carousel pics from McGrath’s Instagram also feature packages and packages of gold, pink, and silver sequins. And Gomez’s hand.
Gah! We don’t even know what it IS and we want it! Selena, if you’re listening — more hints, please.
