Your Back-to-School Shopping List of Anything-but-Basic Basics

The arrival of August can only mean one thing: Back-to-school shopping is officially underway. Even if you’re not kicking off a new school year per se, we can all agree that a wardrobe refresh is in order. Whether you’re embarking on a new job, just got the promotion you deserve or are simply excited by the prospect of the NEW (girl, it’s ‘bout time you traded in your squeaky-clean image for a T Swift-inspired gothic look), now’s the time to do it. But not so fast. Before you go investing in a capsule wardrobe of the same ol’ dress shirts, slacks and streamlined pencil skirts (yawn), we’ve put together a shopping list of 35 anything-but-basic basics you need to add to your repertoire STAT. Sorry not sorry, HR-approved loafers and dresses — you have some company.

1. Lazy Oaf Oversized Rugby Shirt With Colour Blocks ($113): Straight out of an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, this retro “lazy AF” color-block rugby shirt will make you feel like Yeezy. The oversized fit will balance out all your denim cutoffs and pleated minis for a look that says too cool for school. Just don’t forget to throw in some old-school kicks for weekend vibes, even when it’s only Monday.

2. FRS Blue Ice Cream Print Cotton T-Shirt ($29): We can’t decide what we love more, kicking off a new school year or having an excuse to invest in this ice cream graphic tee (‘cuz priorities). When a slew of basic layering tees has got you feeling blue, this popsicle-printed t-shirt will make you want to break out in a happy dance.

3. Topshop Tall Badged Button Skirt ($66): Don’t even think about heading back to school if you don’t own at least one denim patchwork skirt. Pull out all the stops with this adventure-bound denim moto skirt with major ‘90s appeal. Toss on some retro sunnies and a cropped sweatshirt for a sporty look that doesn’t mess around.

4. Liquor & Poker Petite Dungaree Style Denim Dress With Multi Sequin Bib ($57): Step aside, plain ol’ denim overalls! This white dungaree style denim dress — blinged out with a sequined pocket, no less — is the real style MVP. Team it with a ribbed crop top and high-top kicks for an athleisure look, or channel your inner ‘90s babe a la your favorite stretchy tattoo necklace and jelly sandals.

5. Poppy Barley The Dainty Oxford ($225): Be on your A-game from your head to your toes. These sparkly pink lace-up Oxfords are guaranteed to win you points in the style department. Equal parts masculine and feminine, they’ll lend a little extra somethin’ somethin’ to your favorite bow-neck blouse (or come-hither slip dress for after hours) and give you a reason to ditch the heels once and for all.

6. & Other Stories Jewel Embroidered Skirt ($85): HR best be taking notice of your on-point style this fall. In a room full of corporate clones, DO make an effort to stand out with this bejeweled A-line skirt with a personality of its own. Major bonus: It’ll take you from crunching numbers in your cubicle to hitting up happy hour with a quick shoe swap.

7. JumpFromPaper Traveler Backpack ($159): Just as their name suggests, JumpFromPaper’s cartoon-like backpacks are made to fool the eye. Thankfully, you need not be in grade school to tote around this blue traveler backpack that’s made to be spotted a mile away. Wear it strapped to your shoulders or carry it by the top handle for a cutting-edge look.

8. Topshop Oversized Colour Block Shirt Dress ($75): Shirt dresses like this pink, white and black neapolitan number don’t get nearly enough style cred. Less corporate, more utilitarian, this lazy girl-approved collared dress is made for the dog days of summer when you just can’t deal. Easy as slip-on-and-go, it can be teamed with lace-up espadrilles for a day-to-night look.

9. J.Crew Cocktail Shirt ($88): From the classroom to the boardroom, this striped “party” shirt is this close to being on repeat all semester long. The classic girlboss look can be styled with a scalloped pencil skirt for the office or thrown on with your favorite boyfriend jeans (try a half-tuck) for a laid-back-chic uniform. Bonus points if you pop the collar for a little extra panache.

10. Free People Minnie Wrap Sandal ($99): Snooze, you lose! Don’t let summer break pass you by without investing in a pair of these playful wrap sandals that call to mind a stint in paradise. The celebratory tassels and braided ties will look DDG with anything from a Grecian maxi to a white denim mini.

11. Scotch & Soda Johnny Foil Printed 5-Pocket Trousers Relaxed Boyfriend ($155): The best part about starting a new school year is that you can be whoever you want to be. Tap into your inner rocker chick with these star-adorned boyfriend trousers that will inspire you to take more fashion risks. Break away from your goody-two-shoes image by tossing on a studded leather vest, a vintage rocker tee and a pair of worn-in Chuck Taylors.

12. ASOS Glamorous Tall Multi Aztec Stripe Trophy Jacket ($91) + Multi Aztec Stripe Mini Skirt ($73): The secret to looking put together with zero effort? Stylish co-ords with major about-my-business appeal. This embroidered Aztec jacket and matching mini are a way more stylish alternative to stuffy boardroom-approved suits or, worse, blasé black trousers — keep it simple with a mini leather backpack and strappy sandals for an off-duty look that slays around the clock.

13. Free People Out of Gas Cut Off ($248): For the girl who plays by her own rules, we present you with these distressed patchwork denim shorts that best belong in art class. The paint splatters and angsty embroideries will inspire you to pull out your combat boots and invest in a vintage biker jacket. Come fall, your beloved flannel shirts will round out your bad-girl look.

14. Loup Knotted Wide-Leg Overalls ($188): Channel your inner blue-jean baby with these wide-leg frayed overalls that are way ahead of the sartorial curve. Not just restricted to the countryside, they’ll look big-city chic styled with a ruffled Victorian style blouse and ankle-strap heels. For a touch of Parisian, knot a scarf around your neck.

15. Mango Textured Message Dress ($60): YAS, girl! Don’t let anyone rain on your parade — this statement-making dress says it all. From climbing the corporate ladder to becoming student body prez, this boxy frock won’t let you down. Layer it over a gingham button-down or style it with sensible ballet flats for instant style cred. Pssst: It even has pockets.

16. Ulla Johnson Magre Moccasin Boots ($525): Fab fall fashion, right this way! Take note: These suede moccasin boots by Ulla Johnson may not come cheap, but they’re worth every penny. (Did you check out that playful tassel charm?) Between button-front skirts and pinafore dresses, you’ll never run out of ways to style this wardrobe workhorse.

17. ASOS Petite Farleigh High Waist Slim Mom Jeans With Flared Frill Hem ($65): Boyfriend jeans and cropped flares? You don’t necessarily have to choose, y’all. Come BTS time, these mom jeans with a frilly hem will be a mainstay in your nine-to-five wardrobe. Dress ‘em up with a leather jacket and two-tone slingbacks or pare ‘em down with chunky flatforms for a look that demands attention.

18. American Apparel Printed Gia Mini Dress ($54): Get the most bang for your buck by shopping for transitional wardrobe staples you can re-wear this fall. This throwback floral print dress, featuring long sleeves and a flattering A-line silhouette, has best-dressed written all over it. For max perfection, style it with fashion-forward mules and a sleek leather backpack.

19. Zara Floral Culottes ($26): Skorts are a godsend on windy days when wardrobe malfunctions are the last thing you want to deal with. While these floral culottes may not cut it for all work environments, they’re a step up from the stuffy pant suits that seem to dominate corporate America. When in doubt, style this crossover skort with a structured blouse and ankle booties, or opt for a simple tank top and flat sandals for a low-key first day of class.

20. ASOS Shower Proof Unicorn Print Pac Away Mac ($26): Pass up the chance to show up to work in a unicorn-printed rain mac? Not a chance. If you’re going to have to trek across campus in the pouring rain, then you might as well do so in this elevated showerproof topper that’s verging on Lisa Frank territory.

21. J.Crew Signet Bag in Italian Leather ($128): Enter the scene-stealing crossbody bag that can be styled no fewer than a million and one ways. With all sorts of attachable doodads and accessories, J.Crew’s coveted signet bag can be personalized right down to your monogram. Style it with a preppy crewneck sweater and gingham pants, or toss it on alongside a maxi dress for instant schoolgirl charm.

22. Pixie Market Sleeve Tie T-Shirt Dress ($112): Say arrivederci to first-day jitters with this effortless t-shirt dress that looks like you actually took the time to get dressed — when in reality you tossed it on in 60 seconds flat. You could’ve fooled us! For an outfit that says trying, but not trying too hard, team it with free-wheelin’ mules and a leather tote.

23. Topshop Petite Badged Sweatshirt and Jogger ($98): On days you wish you would’ve just stayed in bed, keep things on the DL with this sweatshirt and jogger set that makes early wake-up calls that much more bearable. Besides the super soft material, we can’t get enough of the far-out patches that are straight-up ‘90s. Dare we say it: Dressing down has never looked so good.

24. ASOS Littleton Pointed Ballet Flats ($40): We can’t stop staring. Every standout #OOTD starts with an OMG-worthy pair of steppers — and these cutesy mouse flats are no exception. Between the pale blue head wrap, pearl nose and pretty lashes, these metallic pointy toe flats will rack up all the likes (and *heart eyes*) on Insta.

25. Zara Oversized Poplin Shirt ($40): Same old crisp white button-down? Not on our watch. Stand out for all the right reasons by forgoing your traditional Oxford for this oversized poplin shirt that means business. The emoji-like patches are the definition of fierce — HR ain’t got nothing on you!

26. Mango Satin Bomber Jacket ($60): A silk bomber jacket that makes you look and feel like Joe Cool on any day of the week? *Adds to cart.* Don’t doubt your athleisure sensibilities for a second — this pink and blue trimmed bomber will do all the styling for you. Between midi bodycon dresses and culotte jumpsuits, this security blanket in disguise will always do you right.

27. Eva Franco Sol Stripe Shorts ($118): These are not your everyday tie-waist shorts. Covered in rainbow carnival stripes, they’re guaranteed to add some oomph to your snoozy casual Friday attire. For one last summer hurrah, DO pair them with a string bikini top and metallic sandals over Labor Day weekend.

28. H&M Patterned Jumpsuit ($70): What better way to jumpstart a new school year than with a tropical printed jumpsuit with major ‘70s vibes? Channel your inner Marcia Brady by wearing your hair stick-straight and strutting your stuff in some throwback clogs.

29. Sam Edelman Gretchen Gladiators ($130): Sign us up, please, for a pair of the season’s most coveted pom-pom-embellished gladiators! Bring some festival flair to the classroom (or the boardroom) with these boho sandals that will take any black jumpsuit or printed romper up a notch.

30. Topshop KID Leather Lace-Up Espadrille ($85): Is it an espadrille? Is it a pair of pristine white canvas sneaks? It’s actually both. These sensible lace-up espadrilles were made for the girl on the go with an iCal filled to the brim with meetings, early-morning lectures and post-work-day extracurriculars (AKA happy hour for all you young, hip working professionals). The woven detailing on the sole will look hipster cool with cropped flares or a kaftan dress.

31. Samantha Pleet Spirit Blouse ($129) + Perspective Shorts in Yellow Stripe ($144): Usher in brighter days with this sunshine yellow striped set that calls for a girly top knot and lace-up ballet flats. The high-waisted shorts and cropped blouse prove that modest is hottest, whether you’re heading to Montauk for a boating party or playing the teacher’s pet.

32. New Balance 410 Bold Bright Trainer ($65): While the thought of heading back to school (and reliving 10th grade Phys. Ed) may not rank high on your list of to-dos, these fluorescent orange and gray New Balance sneakers are actually the bomb dot com. Whether you wear them with running shorts and a letterman jacket or a classy LBD, the styling possibilities are endless.

33. Reformation Kubrick Pant ($178): Don’t let too-tight skinny jeans cramp your style when these tailored high-waisted pants are just waiting to come out and play. Not only are stripes a perennial favorite, but these easy-breezy bottoms just so happen to look boss styled alongside a graphic print tee or an off-the-shoulder top. A pair of non-fussy slides will always come to the rescue, whether you’re lounging on the quad or holding down the reception desk.

34. ASOS Confetti Sequin Scrunchie ($10): Turn down for what? Just because school is back in sesh doesn’t mean you have to resort to refined headbands and sweet side braids. Break all the rules with these sequined scrunchies (yup, they’re back!) that will make you want to break out in a spontaneous dance party. Pom-pom sweater unfortunately not included.

35. Nasty Gal Patch Me If You Can Denim Jacket ($88): Take a style cue from Gigi and her squad by investing in an uber trendy patchwork denim jacket. It’s the hero piece your back-to-school capsule wardrobe’s been missing. You can style it with distressed black jeans and a baseball cap or toss it over a dainty floral sundress for unparalleled tough-girl edge.

Growing up on the Outer Banks means I've gone through my fair share of swimsuits. All it takes is one summer of surfing wipeouts, sun bathing, swimming, and hitting up the shops (because you really do everything in a bathing suit on the OBX) to know exactly which bathing suit brands are worth buying — and which are cheap enough to avoid forever. I took to social media to ask real Outer Banks locals which bathing suit brands they can't get enough of. Keep reading for all the details!

Target

Image via Target

I know y'all love Target just as much as I do — and along with their home decor, cute shoes, and comfy clothes, their bathing suit options are some of my friends' favorites. Target's got a ton of diverse and affordable swimwear options that is full of different styles, sizes, and prices. That means there's something for everyone! I'm obsessed with this Underwire Bralette Bikini Top and High Waist High Leg Extra Cheeky Bikini Bottom.

Aerie

Image via Aerie

Aerie is perfect for Outer Banks fans because it's one of the most-used bathing suit brands on the show! This store balances style with comfort and casual, and TBH half the swimsuits are cute enough to be tank tops. Their bathing suits will make you feel confident and add a pop of color to your summer wardrobe! This Smiley® String Triangle Bikini Top and Cheekiest Tie Bikini Bottom are a great place to start ;).

Old Navy

Image via Old Navy

Old Navy is a great place to shop for affordable basics, and that definitely extends to swimsuit season. Their bathing suits come in a range sizes, and they're durable, classic, and super affordable (a lot of them are under $20!). They also have just enough Americana edge to live out your '00s rom-com dreams. I can't stop looking at the Zip-Front Bikini Swim Top and High-Waisted Bikini Swim Bottoms.

Body Glove

Image via Body Glove

Body Glove is one bathing suit brand that's just as functional as it is stylish, and it's also equal parts feminine and sporty for any gal who's always on the go. The Free Flow Eli One-Piece Swimsuitis one of my favorite suits because it's so colorful and it's also supportive, which you absolutely need when taking part in a treasure hunt.

AlySwim

Image via AlySwim

If you're looking for the true Outer Banks experience, then you should grab a suit made by someone who grew up there! AlySwim is totally customizable, and a lot of the suits are reversible so you get two looks for the price of one. With trendy patterns and vibrant colors, bathing suits like the Blue Hawaiian Eva Top and Bottoms will make a bold statement.

Rey Swimwear

The bathing suits from Rey Swimwear are as classy as they come, and it feels like there are endless options for colors, patterns, and silhouettes. There are also options for longer torsos, which is such a blessing for us #TallGirls. Sarah Cameron would be all over this Marie bathing suit!

More Bathing Suit Brands OBX Locals Love

Kenny Flowers immediately reminds me of Palm Royale every time I look on their site because of the old school vibe and bright colors. I NEED the Acapulco Underwire Bikini Top and High Waist Bikini Bottom!!

Fans who were left on the edge of their seats after watching the first part of AHS: Delicate last year won't have to wait longer for part two! Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are gearing up to pick up where their characters left off, and sinister twists are about to get much darker. While we know the focus revolves around their interactions, we can't wait to see how Gilmore Girls star Matt Czuchry fits into what's sure to be a big reveal.

Read on for a mini recap of part one of AHS: Delicateand learn all the juicy details about part two!

Recap of Kim Kardashian's involvement in AHS: Delicate

Kim Kardashian as 'Siobhan' in "American Horror Story: Delicate"

As good as Kim Kardashian is as the icy publicist Siobhan on AHS: Delicate, don't expect her to watch herself onscreen. She appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and explained why she hasn't seen herself in clips of the show when Jimmy Kimmel played and unsettling one.

Her character can be seen intimidating a fertility doctor to do her bidding as she pierces the top of his neck with a long orange fingernail. She smiled before saying "It's so funny, I can't watch it back," and then added, "I get so nervous."

She even talked about the difference between filming for TV and working as an actual actress. She said, "I called my sisters and I go, 'Guys. You — not to say you'd ever want to get into acting — but you are so lucky you can wake up and just, we can sit in bed and film, and you don't have to get up...like there is no schedule."

However, it seems like the budding actress took her new schedule in stride because Star Trek actor and AHS co-star Zachary Quinto applauded Kardashian’s acting chops.

“I did a cameo on this season of ‘American Horror Story’ and I got to meet her,” the actor told People. “She was so lovely and warm and, really, I don’t think she needs my advice.” Quinto added, sharing that Kardashian, was “really in her element” on set and he was “really impressed by her spirit and her openness…I really look forward to seeing this season because I think she’s gonna do a wonderful job.”

Recap of AHS: Delicate Part 1

Image via FX Networks

The first part of AHS: Delicate premiered on FX September 20, 2023 and centered around actress Anna Victoria Alcott's desire to become a mother. Played by Emma Roberts, viewers watched as her husband Dexter Harding (played by Matt Czuchry) was supportive of her IVF procedure so the couple could conceive their first child. Despite the previous struggles, the procedure is a success and the happy couple learn they have a baby on the way.

However, things go horribly wrong when Anna starts being followed and eventually experiences a violent miscarriage during her first trimester. Somehow the baby actually survives, but Anna still experiences a series of strange hallucinations and events. From losing her hair to vomiting a foreign object, she starts to wonder if something is wrong with her baby. There's also the fact that she told her publicist Siobhan (played by Kim Kardashian) that she'd do anything to remain at the top of the her career.

What's revealed is that a baby cult does exist and Dexter's dead first wife knew all about it. However, the cult still looks at him as a threat so it's only a matter of time before they close in.

If you need a refresher, catch up on the first part of AHS: Delicate on Hulu and be sure to check out the eery trailer for a look at part two! Also, get your hands on a copy of Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition to see how the story truly unfolds.

We suspected Siobhan may have a darker role than Anna thinks and the trailer confirms it. As Anna gets further along in her pregnancy, it's hinted that her growing baby may not be 'normal' and there's nothing she'll be able to do about it.

We're crossing our fingers for Anna and Dexter, but the baby cult may have the final say in AHS: Delicate Part 2.

The first portion of AHS: Delicate Part 2 premiered on FX April 3, 2024, but the series will come to a close beginning April 24. All we can say is things are about to get extremely bumpy 👀.

What do you think will happen during the final moments of AHS: Delicate Part 2? Let us know in the comments!

Another one of my favorite coffee chains’ summer menus just dropped, and I am ready to sip away! Rumors about the Dunkin’ summer menu were introduced by foodie inside source, @markie_devo last month, and it appears they were right.

The Dunkin’ summer menu got released on May 1 (just six days prior to the rumored Starbucks summer menu drop), and it looks way too yummy. I’ll have a hard time not ordering these tasty drinks and food items! Based on the success of the Dunkin’ spring menu, the new summer menu doesn't miss.

So, as things begin to heat up, let’s take a look at the *official* Dunkin’ summer menu. Here's what to order today!

When does the Dunkin' summer menu come out?

The Dunkin' summer menu came out on May 1, 2024.

Everything On The Dunkin' Summer Menu

NEW! Kiwi Watermelon Refresher

You'd think that this green drink would be matcha – but nope, it's the all-new Kiwi Watermelon Refresher! Based on the name, this drink mixes kiwi and watermelon for a super fruity and fresh sip. Dunkin' Refreshers are caffeinated with green tea, too, so some of the tea brew could shine through in the flavor. This sounds too good to not order on a sunny summer's day.

NEW! Vanilla Frosted Donut Signature Latte

Available to order hot or iced, this next drink is totally new to the Dunkin' summer menu. Their 'signature' lattes are often super sweet and topped with whipped cream and drizzle. This one will take on the flavors of a classic frosted donut, with rainbow sprinkles to boot. I simply need it now!

NEW! Blueberry Donut Coffee

Also available hot or iced, I expect the rumored Blueberry Donut Coffee to taste like a blueberry donut. Blueberry cake donuts are my absolute favorite kind, so it'll be interesting to see (and taste) how this sip lives up to the OG.

Lemonade

I find it a little odd that Dunkin' doesn't already serve lemonade, but summer seems like the perfect time to start doing so! Dunkin' will be making lemonade a permanent part of their menu on May 1. The last time they had lemonade was when they began serving the Dunkin’ Lemonade Refreshers in 2021, so it appears they're bringing it back for good.

You'll be able to order it on its own or inside their regular lineup of Refreshers (pictured above) – including the new Kiwi Watermelon one!

NEW! Green Goddess Dunkin’ Wrap

Now onto the food! The Dunkin' summer menu has three new snacks slated, and the first one is this wrap. The Green Goddess Dunkin' Wrap is made from scrambled egg whites, farro, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, crumbled feta cheese, green goddess sauce, and wrapped in a green lavash. It looks highly similar to the Spinach Feta wrap on the Starbucks breakfast menu! 👀

NEW! Watermelon Burst Classic Donut

I'm not so sure about this one. Watermelon and donuts don't ever cross paths in my mind, but you never know, it could be delish! This donut is filled with a watermelon-flavored cream filling. I need it now!

Chocolate Chunk Cookie

Chocolate Chunk Cookie – looks like a classic! Like the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread on the Dunkin' spring menu, this rumored item looks like a conveniently pre-packaged easy snack to enjoy on the road or during your lunch break!

All The Dunkin' Summer Menu Rumors

IG @markie_devo

Dunkin' fans sounded off in the comments of the summer menu rumors, sharing their thoughts about the new seasonal roster when it was leaked in April 2024.

Some Dunkin' diners aren't super thrilled with the snack selection on the leaked menu.

"Watermelon donut is wild," one person wrote. "They really need to do better with their food & snacks 😒," another said.

One user is disappointed that Dunkin' isn't doing anything overly innovative with their upcoming rumored summer menu.

"So basically blueberry and vanilla flavored coffees like they’ve had all along," they wrote. "Man they are really slacking on new flavors lately. So disappointing."

On the other hand, some Dunkin' sippers are interested in the more out-there flavors.

"Kiwi Watermelon refresher and Watermelon Burst donut both sound intriguing! Not going to lie!" one user said. "This menu isn’t bad at all I am glad they are bringing Lemonade back I love it," another echoed.

Simply put, Zoë Kravitz & Channing Tatum are just made for each other. The couple met while filming Blink Twice (Zoë directed, Channing starred), and after they went viral for that Brooklyn bike ride, the rest is history. Well, the trailer for Zoë's directorial debut is finally here and it looks absolutely INSANE. No matter how many times I watch the trailer I have no idea how it's going to end. Which, honestly, makes me more intrigued than ever. Whether you're a fan of crazy movies or you just want to bask in the glow of Zoë and Channing's love, here's everything you need to know about the new Channing Tatum movie. Read up on The 33 Most-Anticipated 2024 Movies to see what else is coming this year — it's a great lineup!

What movie is Zoë Kravitz directing?

The latest addition to the Zoë Kravitz movies list is Blink Twice, but it's actually not a movie she's starring in — Zoë's serving as director! The movie, as well as Zoë and Channing's involvement, was announced in June of 2021 and I'm so excited that we finally have a trailer.

What is Blink Twice?

Image via Amazon MGM Studios

Amazon MGM Studios' Blink Twice follows Frida (played by Naomi Ackie), a cocktail waitress who gets whisked away by the wealthy and intoxicating Slater King (Channing Tatum). It doesn't take long for Frida to get into Slater's good graces — or his private island. The more breathtaking sights Frida sees, and the more bubbly she drinks, the more she falls in love with the island. That is, until she realizes just how much terror is boiling under its beautiful surface. The combo of danger and edge with the dreamy island backdrop is totally giving The White Lotus and I can't wait to see how the action unfolds!

When is Blink Twice coming out?

Blink Twice hits theaters August 23, 2024. It's one of our most-anticipated summer movies for the year!

Who's in the Blink Twice cast?

In addition to Channing Tatum and Naomi Ackie, Blink Twice stars Christian Slater, Alia Shawkat, Geena Davis, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Liz Caribel Sierra, Levon Hawke, Trew Mullen, Saul Williams, Cris Costa, Simon Rex, and Kyle MacLachlan.

Each of these actors can balance a grounded presence with absolute insanity, and I can't wait to see who ends up being a good guy and who ends up being more of a mastermind — unless, of course, everyone has a little bit of both in them.

How did Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum meet?

Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum met thanks to Blink Twice. However, they actually worked together before in 2017's The Lego Batman Movie (which is hilarious considering Zoë would later star opposite Robert Pattinson in 2022's The Batman). But since the movie was animated, they weren't actually onscreen together.
