Burger King’s Lucky Charms Shake Is Beyond Magically Delicious

While it’s impossible to narrow down our favorite summer smoothie recipe, Burger King may have just introduced our pick for this season’s best shake. Seriously, if Lucky Charms are magically delicious, then Burger King’s Lucky Charms Shake is likely BEYOND magically delicious.

Joining the popular Fruit Loops Shake, this latest chilly dessert-in-a-cup is filled with “velvety” vanilla-flavored soft serve, sweet sauce, and Lucky Charms cereal, and (natch) the beloved marshmallow bits are “spun to perfection” to create a “twist on one of America’s classic breakfast cereals.”

According to SoCal Snack Hunters, who brilliantly added additional marshmallows to the top of their shake, the treat gets two thumbs up. They said of the treat, “The shake itself tastes exactly like a frozen version of your Lucky Charms cereal (ground up) in milk. It’s fun and brings back childhood memories.” Mmm! Definitely sounds worth a taste or two.

Now we just have to decide whether to enjoy it as breakfast or dessert… or both!

It appears Panera's new era is here with an updated lineup of sandwiches, salads, and sides. The Panera menu got a massive facelift at the beginning of April 2024 with new items and OG faves that feature never-before-seen recipe enhancements.

“We are getting back to Panera at its best with these menu updates that are centered completely on our guests and what they love about us,” said Alicia Mowder, SVP of Product Strategy & Insights at Panera Bread. “We’ve listened to thousands of guests on our path to unveiling more than 20 new or enhanced menu items and are thrilled to bring these products to Panera bakery-cafes nationwide.”

With promises of more satisfying portions and better value, I truly cannot wait to experience the rejuvenated Panera menu! It's looking mighty tasty. Scroll for everything that's new to the Panera menu and available to order now!

All-New Items On The Panera Menu

Chicken Bacon Rancher

This new sammie features slabs of grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, and ranch dressing on Panera's Black Pepper Focaccia bread, and it looks divine. I'm not entirely big on bacon, but I think this stack has the perfect balance between ingredients. That focaccia, though!

Ciabatta Cheesesteak

I could really go for one of these right now. With this newcomer sandwich, strips of tender marinated sliced steak, provolone cheese, garlic aioli, caramelized onions, and a pile of zesty-sweet Panera Peppadew™ peppers are layered between bodied slices of ciabatta.

Toasted Italiano

The Toasted Italiano is everything you could ever want from an Italian sub. Black Forest ham, soppressata, provolone, romaine, red onion, sliced pepperoncini peppers (YUM!), garlic aioli, and Greek dressing meld miraculously together on Panera’s toasted French baguette bread.

Tomato Basil BLT

This sandwich is the result of when a classic BLT meets fresh Italian flavors like tomato and basil. It boasts strips of applewood smoked bacon, crisp mixed greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, garlic aioli, and salt and pepper all slathered onto Panera's Tomato Basil Miche bread.

Bacon Mac & Cheese

Oh wow. This mac makes we want to act up! Sultry, stringy white cheddar sauce hugs every single inch of the shell pasta included in this bowl. You can also order it in a cup as a side dish or in one of Panera's famed bread bowls. The cheesy goodness gets topped off with crispy bits of applewood smoked bacon. I'm drooling, honestly.

Southwest Chicken Ranch Salad

All the vibrant colors of this salad are calling to me! This Southwest-inspired salad highlights a bed of romaine tossed in ranch dressing with grilled chicken, chipotle aioli, fresh avocado, grape tomatoes, fire-grilled corn, fresh cilantro, and blue corn tortilla strips joining in on the delicious fun.

Ranch Cobb Salad

There's nothing like a Cobb salad, TBH. This brand-new take from Panera features romaine and mixed greens tossed in ranch dressing, which gets topped with grape tomatoes, pickled red onions, applewood smoked bacon, feta cheese, and a hard-boiled egg – a classic!

Mediterranean Chicken Greens with Grains

It's nice to see that Panera's boosting their salads with more grains, a la Sweetgreen or CAVA. This dish takes on Mediterranean flavors, hosting a medley of farro, red rice, grilled chicken, hummus, feta, red onions, zesty sweet Peppadew™ peppers, sliced cucumbers, and a sprinkle of Panera’s Mediterranean shawarma seasoning. Is it lunchtime yet?!

Balsamic Chicken Greens with Grains

Balsamic lovers, rise up! This fresh new fare from the Panera menu has romaine, mixed greens, farro, red rice, sliced cucumbers, pepperoncini peppers, fresh avocado, feta, pumpkin seeds, and a dose of balsamic vinaigrette and Green Goddess dressing.

Panera Menu Items That Got Upgraded

Bravo Club Sandwich

There are 13 items on the Panera menu that received recipe enhancements alongside the newly-debuted dishes. According to Debbie Roberts, the Chief Operating Officer at Panera Bread, the upgrades resulted from customer and employee feedback.

“Panera’s New Era is incredibly exciting, not only for our guests, but also our associates, who will be able to renew their focus on our core menu and serve our guests more efficiently with enhanced portions and better value,” said Roberts. “We are eager to get back to our roots within these core categories and unveil these delicious new menu innovations, all while providing an exceptional guest experience.”

The first menu item that got a facelift is the Bravo Club, which features oven-roasted turkey breast, Black Forest ham, applewood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, crisp mixed greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, signature Bravo sauce, and salt and pepper on Tomato Basil Miche bread.

Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt

Next up is the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt, and it looks insanely good. The balance Panera has created between smoked chicken, aged white cheddar, fresh sliced avocado, fresh cilantro, zesty sweet Peppadew™ peppers, and chipotle aioli in this sandwich is super impressive. It's all laid atop their Black Pepper Focaccia!

Toasted Frontega Chicken Sandwich

If mozzarella is involved, I'm 1000% there. This enhanced sammie has it all: smoked, pulled chicken, fresh mozz, vine-ripened tomatoes, red onions, fresh basil, chipotle aioli, and salt and pepper all inside Panera's Black Pepper Focaccia.

Spicy Buffalo Chicken Melt

You really can't go wrong with Buffalo flavors, but it appears Panera has leveled up even more with the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Melt! Smoked, pulled chicken, American cheese, red onions, and spicy Buffalo sauce get piled onto a toasted French Baguette for a heavenly bite filled with cheesiness, crunchiness, and spice.

Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich

One of the more simplistic items on the Panera menu, this sandwich has a nice mix of chicken, BBQ sauce, red onions, and aged white cheddar on ciabatta.

Grilled Chicken & Avocado BLT

I fear I could eat one of these every day, it looks so yum. Grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, crisp mixed greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh sliced avocado, garlic aioli, and salt and pepper layer in between Panera's Country Rustic Sourdough bread in this dish!

Turkey & Cheddar Sandwich

The new-and-improved Turkey & Cheddar Sandwich isn't just turkey and cheddar. This pick features the classic meat and cheese combo alongside stacks of fresh tomato, mixed greens, onions, and garlic aioli – all stacked high between sourdough bread slices.

Green Goddess Chicken Cobb Salad

This one's for the girls and guys who eat their greens! Fitted with a hearty (but still light) mix of romaine, mixed greens, Green Goddess dressing, grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, pickled red onions, fresh avocado, applewood smoked bacon and a hard-boiled egg, this salad definitely lands on the more satisfying, filling side of things.

Fuji Apple Chicken Salad

Apples on salad are ahh-mazing! The enhanced Panera menu is embracing the savory-sweet flavor combo with this chicken-filled salad topped with crisp apple chips. It highlights a bed of romaine and mixed greens that is tossed in a sweet white balsamic vinaigrette, then topped with grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, red onions, toasted pecan pieces, feta crumbles, and the apple chips.

Caesar Salad

Panera's transformed their Caesar salad to have an even better value with this round of menu enhancements. You can get this pick with or without chicken. The greens get doused in Caesar dressing, then get topped with grilled chicken, shaved parmesan cheese, black pepper, and sea salt croutons for crunch.

Greek Salad

The all-new Greek Salad can also be ordered with or without chicken. It has a classic medley of romaine, Greek dressing, grape tomatoes, feta cheese, sliced cucumbers, red onions, kalamata olives, sliced pepperoncini peppers, and salt and pepper for flavor.

There are a number of TV shows in the running for best teen drama. I'm ready to press play on The Summer I Turned Pretty, One Tree Hill, and The Vampire Diaries at any given moment, but there is nothing like watching Friday Night Lights season 1. It might not be as glamorous as Gossip Girl, but that's exactly why it resonates so deeply when you watch it — FNL both highlights and honors viewers' real-world experiences because the characters are SO relatable. Instead of leaving you envious of a fictional life, Friday Night Lights welcomes you into a community you feel like you already know.

Image via NBC

Everyone in the fictional town of Dillon, Texas lives and breathes football, and Friday Night Lights season 1 opens just before the first game of the season. Right off the bat, we're introduced to characters that both evoke emotion and spark our curiosity, and we're told exactly where they are in their lives: new head coach Eric Taylor is struggling to win the town's confidence. Fullback Tim Riggins struggles both with motivation and against confident running back Smash Williams. All-American quarterback Jason Street has dreams of playing in the NFL while timid Matt Saracen takes care of his grandmother during the afternoon and serves as second-string quarterback at night.

Not to mention the fact that when I watched Friday Night Lights for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by how compelling and multi-dimensional the women are. Tami Taylor has the perfect blend of motherly love and the kind of Southern sass that puts you in your place. Minka Kelly's Lyla Garrity is one of my favorite TV characters of all time because she might be wealthy and popular, but she evades "The Curse of the Brunette" that seems to plague early 2000s leading ladies. Instead of turning into a manipulative mean girl like the high school versions of Blair Waldorf and Brooke Davis, Lyla is just kind. Does she still make insanely bad decisions (like kissing her boyfriend's best friend)? Yes, but aren't bad decisions a right of passage when you're 17?

The show's initial plots and character arcs revolve heavily around football, but the sport really just serves as a funnel for all the off-field drama. The tension between the characters makes their gameplay even more passionate — and when Street gets seriously injured during that first game of the season, the town rallies together in a way that highlights how strong a community can bond in the face of tragedy.

Image via NBC

Life in middle-class America can be tough, but it can also be really, really sweet. While I'm neither from Texas nor have attended the kind of football school Dillon High is, the contrast between the characters' responsibilities and the fun that comes with parties and joining your friends at the local burger joint resonates with me every time I rewatch.

Even the fact the show is named Friday Night Lights emphasizes that contrast because it shows just how much of a spotlight is on these kids, and how much weight is on their shoulders when they're truly just trying to survive their teenage years.

Rather than providing an escape from viewers' realities like Outer Banks does, Friday Night Lights season 1 emphasizes the realities of juggling multiple jobs, school, and family responsibility that a lot of viewers experience too. It allows you to understand the characters in a really personal way — and feel like you're a part of the community too. The world can seem so big and scary (now more than ever), which is why the simplicity of Friday Night Lights totally redefines comfort TV.

Other than having a massive range of tasty coffees and teas, Dunkin’ Donuts’ breakfast menu is stacked with food options. Like its competitor, the Dunkin’ Donuts’ breakfast menu includes breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and snacks. But what are the absolute best things to order from the Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast menu?

If you’re in a pinch for your morning meal, I got you. As a former barista and fast food aficionado whose taste-tested a vast amount of Dunkin’s offerings, I’m equipped to spill the beans on which foods from the Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast menu will satisfy and slay. Let’s get into it!

Wake-Up Wrap

The Wake-Up Wrap reigns supreme for me when it comes to the Dunkin' Donuts breakfast menu, TBH! It scores massive points for convenience, since you can eat it with just one hand. It's a killer road trip snack, or even a great morning commute meal if you're short on options at home.

Stuffed Bagel Minis

Oh my gosh, I could literally eat 20 of these stuffed bagel bites! As opposed to a traditional bagel (in which you'd have to smear on the cream cheese yourself), these convenient little guys are super easy to just pop in your mouth! The flavor is also impeccable and I think the balance between bread and cream cheese is expertly done.

Donuts

It wouldn't be the Dunkin' Donuts breakfast menu without donuts, of course! My favorite is definitely anything rainbow-sprinkled, but there are so many flavors and types of donuts to order, like: Churro, Cherry Blossom, Apple Crumb, Coconut, Glazed, Eclair, Buttermilk, Boston Creme, Chocolate, Cinnamon, and more!

Hash Browns

Dunkin's hash browns are heavenly, straight up. I love that they're shaped into bite-sized pieces for on-the-go enjoyment. They're even better when you stuff the Wake-Up Wrap with a few of 'em. 😉

Turkey Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich

Turkey sausage is so tasty, and I'd argue this sandwich from Dunkin' beats out the regular sausage one. The amount of cheese is just perfect, too.

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich

You really can't go wrong with a SEC sammie. I love that Dunkin' serves theirs on a croissant bun rather than your run-of-the-mill English muffin or biscuit. Slather some Sriracha on this bad boy, and you're set up for an amazing morning!

Muffins

The absolute best muffin on the Dunkin' Donuts breakfast menu is Blueberry, no questions asked. The muffins are also available to order in Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, Coffee Cake, and Corn. I love how they taste alongside an iced latte!

Egg & Cheese Sandwich

The Egg & Cheese is pretty basic, but I love that it's a convenient option for the vegetarians stopping by Dunkin'. I wouldn't order it myself (I like my breakfast a bit heartier), but it doesn't deviate too far from the rest of the breakfast sammie lineup on the Dunkin' Donuts breakfast menu!

Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich

I want to like bacon, but I just don't. That's why I can't quite recommend this Dunkin' Donuts breakfast menu item. But, if you're big on bacon, you'll devour it in mere minutes.

Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich

I hate to say it, but the sourdough bread on this sammie has let me down many times. It's always come out quite hard, which makes getting a bite of the bread and the soft insides really difficult.

Snackin' Bacon

Again, I'm not a bacon stan. I'm sorry!

Bagels

I've never met a bagel I didn't like, and I think the Dunkin' bagels are decent for what they are. They're available in many different flavors: Cinnamon Raisin, Plain, Everything (my fave), Multigrain, Sesame Seed, and White Cheddar Twist.

Croissant

This plain croissant leaves much to be desired. I don't care for it too much since it's lacking in flavor and always seems enjoyably dry. I'd love to see Dunkin' add more croissant flavors to their menu!

English Muffin

The English muffin from Dunkin' is pretty much what you'd expect. It's not fancy in any way, but still a reliable form of sustenance, especially if you're looking for a breakfast menu option that's on the healthier side.

Munchkins Donut Holes

The smaller donuts, Munchkins, come in Butternut, Cinnamon, Glazed Blueberry, Glazed Old Fashioned, Jelly, and Powdered. I love the Glazed Old Fashioned and could probably eat an entire batch if I was feelin' crazy.

I have such a love/hate relationship with haircuts. While I love the feeling of a fresh look as much as the next girl, I hate having to spend $100+ for a simple cut and blow dry session. During my recent trim, I talked with my hairdresser, Jack Rehak of Jack’s Hair Design in Hinsdale, Illinois, about ways to keep a haircut looking new and best practices for keeping hair healthy. Here's what he had to say!

Here's How Often You Should Cut Your Hair, According To Professionals

I’ll admit it — it had been eight months since my last haircut. My hair had lost its shape, my layers were nowhere to be found, and my ends were begging for mercy. Life got busy over the last few months and I was neglecting my haircare like never before.

My hairdresser could immediately see that I was beyond due for a cut and said I needed to get more taken off than I was hoping. I was definitely disappointed — I'd been working on growing out my hair for a while now, and it just felt like my hard work had completely gone to waste. He explained that getting consistent haircuts is the key to growing out healthy and strong hair, rather than letting it grow and grow until it eventually breaks. So let's dig into the top three things you can do to avoid this scenario!

1. Just Get The Dang Haircut

Also avoiding a haircut like I was? You might want to schedule one at your nearest salon. Like my stylist said, when you wait too long between trims like I did, you risk your hair becoming heavy, dull, and lifeless. When the hair is dry or even dead, it’s nearly impossible for it to hold a curl or style, essentially collapsing on you and taking on more and more heat damage all the while. I know the pain of spending time on a blowout only for it to fall minutes later — it’s the worst.

According to Jack, getting a haircut every 10-12 weeks is the best time frame or your ends will pay the price. Between blow-drying, curling, straightening, sun, and weather, our ends get dry and start to break without the proper care. Getting consistent haircuts allows hair to bounce back, shine, and perform the way we want in a healthy way.

2. Leave-In Conditioners Are Your Friend

His top piece of advice to keep your hair looking and feeling hydrated between trims? Invest in conditioning treatments. Jack swears by the Olaplex conditioning system, specifically the No 3 Hair Perfector. Made with patented OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology™, this conditioning treatment repairs and prevents damage in as little as three minutes. No 3 promises to reduce breakage and visibly strengthen hair, so it’s the perfect assistance to keep ends fresh between cuts. Another conditioning treatments I’ve used and loved for years is the Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask, which is designed to restore moisture, elasticity, and shine to dry hair.

3. Switch Up Your Shampoos

Switching shampoos frequently is a pretty hot tip that I honestly hadn't thought of. Our hair gets used to the same products and grows tired of them, resulting in lackluster locks. Jack’s advice is to switch brands after finishing every bottle of shampoo to bring life back to your hair. Have two brands that you’re loyal to? Even switching back and forth between them after every bottle should make a big difference in your hair. I’m a huge fan of the R+Co Dallas Biotin Thickening Shampoo, which makes my hair look thick and full, as well as the Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo, which is so hydrating and gives so much shine.

In the end, navigating your back-and-forth relationship with haircuts often feels like a rollercoaster ride between wanting that fresh look and cringing at the receipt. Luckily, by using conditioning treatments and switching up your products,, you can keep your locks healthy, shiny, and full of life between trims. But take a newly learned lesson out of my book: don't let your ends pay the price for procrastination and just book the haircut.
