It’s a tale as old as time: reality TV stars who started as friends but quickly turned into rivals. For former Vanderpump Rules stars Brittany Cartwright and Stassi Schroeder, the tension between them has been a topic of much speculation since their fallout. In a recent segment of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, former Vanderpump Rules and current The Valley star Brittany Cartwright got candid about where she truly stands with former co-star Stassi Schroeder.
During the show, a fan asked Brittany if Stassi had extended the olive branch and reached out to her after the very public split she had from long-time partner, Jax Taylor.
"She has not, at all," Brittany began, "But I have seen her at Lala [Kent's] daughter, Ocean's, birthday party, and I see her at different events, like Disney on Ice."
“I always walk up and give a big hug, and we're always very friendly, very nice to each other. I want nothing but the best for them, so happy for them. A lot of love there, but no, she has not [reached out],” she continued.

Following her split from Jax Taylor in February 2024 after over five years of marriage, Brittany's life has dominated tabloid headlines. In the wake of Jax's admission to a 30-day inpatient facility for mental health treatment, Brittany formally filed for divorce in August 2024. The Valley, a Vanderpump Rules spinoff, is currently airing Season 2, which chronicles the estranged couple's next chapter. VPR alumni Scheana Shay and Lala Kent make cameos in the most recent season, showcasing their ongoing relationship and support for Brittany.
Stassi and Brittany were once close during their time on Vanderpump Rules. Their falling out became more pronounced after Brittany backed out of attending Stassi’s wedding at the last minute, leaving Stassi stuck with non-refundable costs and feeling blindsided. As a result, Brittany was not invited to Stassi’s second wedding in Italy. Since then, the tension has lingered, showing up in podcast mentions and public appearances.
Despite the past drama, Brittany remains close with several Vanderpump Rules cast members. She maintains a strong friendship with Lala Kent and Scheana Shay, both of whom appear on The Valley.
