Winter fashion never comes easily to me. My inner summer soul just personally can’t get the hang of muted colors or chunky layering. I feel like I am constantly re-wearing the same pieces because they are the warmest and look somewhat chic. However, what we need to talk about are my mittens. These dark, black, chunky mittens keep my hands warm but just make my hands look like frostbitten lobster claws. Womp womppp. This week, I decided they were in need of an update — follow along to see how easy it is to turn these mittens into something stylish.

Materials and Tools:

  1. Measure the circumference of the opening of your glove. Cut two pieces of fur that measure four inches x the circumference.
  2. Glue the edges of the fur together to create a cylinder and then glue onto your mitten.

Wait — is being chic really that easy? Yes. Yes it is.
