This Company Wants to Make Your House Look Like the Ritz
Emily Bihl
Emily Bihl
Emily Bihl is a freelance writer and sometimes-songwriter currently undoing a lifetime of healthy eating in the great city of New Orleans. When she’s not writing, she can be found covered in clay at the ceramics studio or attempting an approximated downward dog. She likes her black labrador Selkie, unexpected anagrams, and cracking the sugar on creme brûlée with the back of a spoon.
While most of us can't afford to live in swanky hotels year-round, The Mine, a home decor shopping site, is putting at least part of that experience within reach. They recently partnered with SA Baxter, an architectural hardware firm known for its custom knobs and drawer pulls found in luxury hotels like The Four Seasons and The Ritz Carlton, making the exclusive pieces available to the general public for the first time.
The decorative accents come in a variety of finishes (think antique-y brass, polished bronze, and high-shine chrome). The hardest part will be deciding just which metallic finishes to use to elevate your cabinets. Click through to see our favorites and start planning your own kitchen upgrade, one knob at a time.
