Kourtney Kardashian Clears Up Those Pregnancy Rumors
Baby rumors are swirling fiercely around the most famous reality TV family in the biz, as pregnancy questions follow Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian, and fans await news on Kim Kardashian expecting her third child via surrogate. This week, Kourtney Kardashian found herself caught up in the gossip too, when reports claimed that she jokingly told an interviewer she was pregnant. But the situation is not what you think.
The eldest Kardashian-Jenner sibling (who has three kids with Scott Disick and is currently dating 24-year-old model Younes Bendjima) apparently startled a Grazia writer by saying, “I’m pregnant,” during a recent chat. The reporter even notes in the story that she “declare[d]” the news “with all the gravitas of a newscaster announcing World War III.” A few sentences later, though, the interviewer says Kardashian clarified that she was joking “after an uncomfortably long pause.”
Naturally, fans freaked out on social media — some over the thought of another baby on the way, and others over the idea that the KarJenners are just trolling everyone. Before things got too out of hand, though, the 38-year-old took to Twitter to clear things up.
“I see online that I said I was pregnant in an interview, but that was completely taken out of context,” she explained, adding, “The interviewer asked me ‘What’s a crazy rumor that you’ve heard about yourself?’ and my answer was…’I’ve heard that I am pregnant.'”

That certainly sounds different from the reporter’s version of what happened. But it’s possible there was a misunderstanding or misinterpretation. In any case, the family may want to be careful about saying the word “pregnant” to someone in the press for the next few months.
