Lady Gaga Is Taking a Break from Taylor Kinney, and Here’s Why
Even if two people love each other passionately and deeply, relationships can be incredibly hard work for all parties involved — especially when you factor long distance into the equation. That’s exactly why trendsetting songstress Lady Gaga took to Instagram to share a beautiful yet heartbreaking post about her fiancé, Taylor Kinney — and why they have to take a break.
On Tuesday night, Lady Gaga shared a black-and-white picture of the couple facing away from the camera with their arms around each other. This wasn’t a cutesy post, though — it was a grave announcement.
“Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates,” she wrote in the caption. “Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break.”
The pair hope to work through their issues and come out strong on the other side, Lady Gaga explained. “We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared,” she wrote. “Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
We’re 100 percent rooting this amazing couple on. Even the strongest couples struggle from time to time, and we truly hope Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are able to get through this rough patch and come back to each other.
