Meghan King Edmonds Gives Birth to Twin Boys!
The Edmonds household just got a lot busier! Former RHOC star Meghan King Edmonds has given birth to twins, welcoming two new sons with her husband Jim Edmonds.
“One little foot each. They made it,” Jim posted on his Instagram story, with a photo of two little ink footprints on his arm. “Everyone is safe and healthy. Pictures will come soon.”
A few hours earlier, the Fox Sports commentator teased that the little ones were on their way when he shared a snap of a dinner tray. “Hospital food, hint hint,” he wrote.
The Edmonds family first revealed they were expecting back in November. The next month, they revealed that Meghan was pregnant with twin boys. The couple are already parents of a daughter, Aspen, and Jim also has four children from previous relationships.
Before having their first child together, Meghan and Jim shared their fertility struggles and IVF treatments with fans on Real Housewives of Orange County. The couple kept their attempts at a second child off the show, however, and the reveal that they were expecting again came as a surprise. Another surprise followed in January, when Meghan announced she would be leaving the show in order to focus on having a healthy pregnancy.
“I knew that I was going to have a long pregnancy growing the twins and it would be next to impossible to film,” she explained. “I could do it, but did I really want to? Twin pregnancies must be treated more delicately than a singleton pregnancy and are high-risk by default, so I also wanted to have a peaceful pregnancy with positive influences … I guess it’s time for me to become an actual real housewife of sorts. Oh, the irony!”
