Priyanka Chopra Says Goodbye to ‘Quantico’ With a Hopeful Message to Fans
After thrilling audiences for three seasons of TV, Quantico aired its final episode on Friday, August 2. And in honor of the finale, the show’s star, Priyanka Chopra — who’s reportedly engaged to Nick Jonas — said goodbye to the ground-breaking ABC hit with a hopeful message to fans.
“As the series ends, I am saying goodbye to [FBI Agent] Alex Parrish. As you’ll see, her story will come full circle…and that is the best feeling as an actor,” Chopra wrote of the role, which made her the first Indian woman to lead an American network series. “Bringing Alex to life has challenged me physically and emotionally, but even more significant it has (I hope) cracked the door open… for female talent and women of color to play leading ladies.”
She went on to express her appreciation for both viewers and her colleagues on the series. “Thank you for opening your homes and hearts to me every week!” she continued.
“Thank you to the cast and crew of #Quantico for being such an amazing team to work with, for all the memories that I will cherish…memories of laughter, of learning new things, of making friends for life. It was a pleasure working with each and every one of you, and I look forward to crossing paths again!”
Despite the end of Quantico, we’ll still be seeing plenty of Chopra on screen. The actress is set to appear in Isn’t It Romantic, alongside The Hunger Games‘ Liam Hemsworth and GLOW‘s Betty Gilpin, as well as in Cowboy Ninja Viking with Jurassic World‘s Chris Pratt. She has also been cast in Gustakhiyan, a story based on the life of poet Sahir Ludhianvi.
