Yet several viewers pointed out how, in the original series of Professor T, her character ends up leaving the show early on anyway (but doesn’t suffer a graphic death like in this version). Some fans were super confused after Bridgerton star Emma Naomi (who plays Alice Mondrich on the romance show) suggested she’d be back on Professor T for a fourth season. How would that be possible given the fate of her character? There’s a chance this could mean the actress will be given more content to work with in flashback sequences or perhaps in Dan’s daydreams, but we’re not given much information at the moment as to whether she’ll actually return.
The series showrunner said of her untimely death, “I think there's no getting away from the kind of impact of a traumatic episode like that, I don't think you just get to turn up for work the next day and everything's jolly, so I think the impact definitely will be there at the beginning of the fourth series. 100 percent, I think the remnants of that last shot will be present.”
With this little information given, it’s hard to tell whether Emma Naomi will be back for the fourth season, but all we know is we’ll be devastated without Lisa gracing our screens.
