The ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’ Cast Has a Message for the ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Cast
It looks like we’re not the only ones who can’t wait for Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The original cast of Sabrina the Teenage Witch got together to send their “best witches” to the stars of the new Netflix show, which premieres Friday, October 26.

As seen in a video posted to Netflix’s SeeWhat’sNext Twitter account, Melissa Joan Hart, who played Sabrina from 1996 to 2003, joined her former costars Nate Richert (Harvey), Caroline Rhea (Aunt Hilda), and Beth Broderick (Aunt Zelda) in sending messages to their Netflix counterparts.
“From one Sabrina to the other, if you’re ever given a choice between a broom and a vacuum, choose the vacuum,” Hart said in a message meant for Kiernan Shipka, who will play the new teen witch.
Richert, for his part, gave a shout-out to Ross Lynch, who will play Sabrina’s boyfriend. “I just wanted to say hello to the new Harvey, Ross Lynch. I hear the new Sabrina is scarier and pretty damn twisted,” Richert quipped. “I’m rooting for you, buddy. Stay alive!”
Rhea’s turn was next. “Just want to say best witches to Lucy Davis for being Hilda 2.0. And now I get to be Etta Candy,” she joked, referring to Davis’ popular role in 2017’s Wonder Woman. “I’m so excited. I can’t wait to see the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”
Broderick echoed Rhea’s excitement, saying, “I can’t tell you how excited I am to see the new Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” She then told the new Aunt Zelda, “Miranda Otto, I witch you all the best.”
The four actors then came together with one final message: “From our coven to yours… Best witches!”
