See If You Can Spot the Major Difference Between Rachel’s Bachelorette Promo and Jojo’s Season
When Rachel Lindsay was announced as the next Bachelorette, we had no doubt that things were going to be different this time around (in the best way). Given that Rachel knows exactly what she wants in a man and is in no mood to put up with less, we’re already predicting a season filled with drama. And now, the first promo from Lindsay’s season proves that there’s one major difference between this woman and past Bachelorettes.
While the romantic vibe of the show usually leans toward the sappier side, especially in season previews (sorry, Jojo Fletcher, but it’s true), our introduction to Rachel Lindsay’s turn at the matchmaking whirlwind is TOTALLY different.
Yes, she’s wearing the traditional red dress. Yes, she’s turning up the heat while strutting in mile-high heels through a field of rose petals. And, yes, she’s holding a rose, natch. But that’s where things suddenly change and take a totally fierce turn.

Just as the new Bachelorette begins to hold the rose sweetly and lovingly, she then flashes a disgusted look and throws the symbol of love to the ground with a flourish, as the song playing reminds us of her not-so-successful search for happily-ever-after on this past season of The Bachelor. Letting the flower drop to the floor, she then steps on the scattered petals as the song (and rose petals above her head) confidently declare, “That’s my girl!”
Obviously ready to move on and find lasting love — with her no BS-attitude leading the way as opposed to overwhelming sentimentality — we can’t wait to see more of Rachel Lindsay as the new Bachelorette. Watch the trailer on E!here.
