Your Childhood Faves Are Getting a High-Fashion Twist
Fashion collabs always get us excited, especially when it’s a partnership with one of our favorite childhood muses, such as Mickey with Uniqlo or Daffy Duck with Vans. This month, there are two new lines that will have your inner child dancing with joy. Get ready to welcome chic pieces from Alice in Wonderland for Marc by Marc Jacobs and Peanuts for Lacoste.
Earlier in June, we revealed the news about Alice and MMJ (the last collection for MMJ ever — sob!), and now the product is officially available on the brand’s website and in their NYC West Village store. It’s just as fanciful and true to Alice as you’d expect.
Bow bracelet watches, googly eye pouches, door-knob-with-keyhole phone covers and more are available for that one last gasp of MMJ whimsy. Some pieces were even done in collaboration with artist Bob Richards, including a really beautiful iPhone cover in dark, mysterious Alice-appropriate fauna and flora.
The other glee-inducing collection this month is Snoopy’s first go with sporty brand Lacoste. The gang from Peanuts turns 65 this year, and in celebration, there’s a line of polo shirts (starting at $85) and sweatshirts with Snoopy and his cohorts where Lacoste’s signature crocodile would be.
The collection is available for men, women and kids, with no viewing of The Peanuts Movie necessary (though strongly suggested!).
