7 Perfectly Dramatic Shows To Fill The 'We Were Liars' Void

Psychological thriller fans, if you've already watched We Were Liars, a new series based on E. Lockhart's bestselling YA novel published in 2014, then this is for you. The story centers on Cadence Sinclair, a 17-year-old from a wealthy family. She spends her summers on private Beechwood Island, located off the coast of Massachusetts, with her cousins, known as "the liars."
But following an accident when she was 15 years old, she struggles with her memory, and after she goes back to Beechwood Island two years later, she begins to connect the dots.
Emily Alyn Lind is starring as Cadence, and other cast members include Brady Droulis, Caitlin FitzGerald, Mamie Gummer, Candice King, Rahul Kohli, Shubham Maheshwari, Esther McGregor, Joseph Zada, and more.

But a hazing scandal threatens their social standing, so they come up with a plan to seduce the Vice President of the United States' daughter.

West Duchovny portrays Alison, and Alycia Debnam-Carey depicts Emily. Other cast members in this psychological drama include Josh Bonzie, Jayden Elijah, Bre Francis, Kenlee Anaya Townsend, Michael Park, and Betsy Brandt. The first and only season of Saint X can be streamed on Hulu.
