We won’t deny that our love of all things Lisa Frank-related is strong, and we know you feel the same. Lisa Frank-inspired donuts, Lisa Frank-inspired milkshakes (yum!), Lisa Frank coloring book, Lisa Frank tarot cards, even the feminist Lisa Frank tumblr… if it features bright, glittering colors and adorable critters, then it’s pretty much a win. But now, our fave whimsical world is coming to life in a live-action AND animated Lisa Frank movie.

Lisa Frank herself, the reclusive illustrator who is the namesake of the sparkliest brand around which launched way back in 1979, is working with producer Jon Shestack to create a movie that will be a mix of live-action and animated storytelling.

“Lisa Frank’s world is cheerful, it’s optimistic, it’s hip, but it is without snark,” Shestack said, according to Variety. “It’s just sort of impossible to scowl when you’re smiling, and why would you want to? I’m so stoked to be part of this.”

We’re pretty darn stoked too! We have to wonder what the script will look like, but as long as it includes bunnies doing ballet, unicorns wearing sunglasses and bears playing guitar, we’ll be as thrilled as we were when we received our very first Lisa Frank stickers.
