That’s why we were totally excited to find this helpful infographic that gets down to the numbers of how to shop smart and save on your hard earned dough.

Looking through this, it’s clear that convenience does not pay off. Think about this the next time you want to ditch cooking dinner for fast food instead. A salmon filet with brown rice will cost you less than a value meal at Mickie D’s! Plus, in the time it takes for you to get there and back, you could have already made yourself a healthy feast.

They also offer some really helpful tips for keeping up your healthy lifestyle, like buying a head of lettuce instead of the packaged stuff, purchasing your spices in bulk and only buying pantry staples when they’re on sale.
