This Self-Taught Artist’s Drawings Are Insanely Realistic
Self-taught Singaporean artist Ivan Hoo works with colored pencils, pastels and ink on simple wooden boards. With those regular ol’ tools, he creates not-so-regular drawings that jump out of the canvas. Hoo wrote on Bored Panda, “I always love to draw realistic art or artworks that tease the eyes and the brain. By working on wood, it gives me a lot of dimension and ideas to create something close to reality.” Between pugs, spilled wine and dripping water, these drawings are almost TOO good. We’re still convinced some of them are real life.
